This is a house on 3 floors, with a wide spiral staircase in the high ceilinged main entrance. Scamper up the stairs to the first floor and you’ll find the master bedroom with its large en suite bathroom. Opposite, there’s the kids room which sleeps 4 and has its own en suite bathroom too. A door on this floor opens directly onto the large, entirely private garden, which offers stunningly wide views across the hills, with picturesque Cetona and Città della Pieve in the distance. Carrying on up the stairs, you come to the loft, where there’s a bathroom (with a rather low ceiling) and your choice between a spacious double bedroom or a pretty, low ceilinged room with twin beds. Given the Italian love affair with eating well, you won’t be surprised to hear the sun-filled kitchen at Villa Moscatelli has an oversize electric oven, 5 gas hobs (with a safety guard to keep little fingers safely at bay), a dishwasher and plenty of fridge and freezer space for ample supplies of delicious Italian ice cream and well chilled drinks for the grown ups. The kitchen is right next door to that shady outdoor table. And, in line with what’s important in an Italian home, you’ll find the owners have created a splendid children’s bedroom, complete with TV, its own en suite bathroom and a veritable mountain of toys for your kids to enjoy. And there’s a large, well supervised, open air public swimming pool and 2 tennis courts only 5 minutes drive away, so you can relax on that front too!
