We offer 'The Cherokee Wind' cabin, which is a warm and cozy, comfortably furnished red cedar cabin with all the amenities of home on 10 acres of heavily wooded property. Our cabin has a wood burning fireplace with wood and kindling provided for those times when the weather turns chilly. We provide a fenced 20x10 pet kennel, hammock, picnic table, rocking chairs on the covered porch, horseshoes and a campfire pit. If you enjoy fly-fishing, some of the best trout fishing in the South is all around us and only a short drive away. The Tuckaseigee, Nantahala and Tusquitee Rivers are hatchery supported and hold rainbows, browns and brook trout up to 25 inches. The cabin can accommodate up to 4 people. It is private and secluded, yet accessible, perfect for friends, family and reunions. We know how important it is for people to be able to bring their animals with them on vacation, so bring your 'best friends' for a memorable, relaxing Smoky Mountain getaway.

MY family has stayed here many times. great scenery, good fishing, peace and quite. love the national forest and the people of murphy are very nice. it is great to have a real home to go back to on your vacation.
