Stylishly furnished to a high quality, fully equipped this apartment offers everything you need for a relaxing self-catering holiday in the Algarve. There is a spacious lounge and dining area, with a dining table seating six, TV, Freeview box. Bedrooms are both spacious with ample storage area The kitchen is well equipped and has access to the south facing patio with table, chairs and garden - perfect for alfresco dining. The bathroom has a bath, shower, toilet, bidet and wash basin. There is a video entry system to the apartment and lift access to the allocated underground parking. Linen and towels are included, although guests must provide their own pool and beach towels.
Parque da Corcovada is located just ten minutes from the centre of Albufeira, the most well- known holiday resort on the Algarve. Albufeira itself is in the centre of the Algarve and is only about an hour and half’s drive from both the nature reserves on the furthest Eastern point on the boundary with Spain and the furthest Western point of the Algarve with its rugged Atlantic coastline. Beautiful lakes and hills are an hours drive to the North while within walking distance of the complex to the South are numerous stretches of stunning white-sandy award winning beaches surrounded by beautiful cliffs and rugged coves.
Albufeira still retains much of a small-town charm. The narrow, cobbled streets of the old town are lined with white washed houses, restaurants, bars and shops. Each night fishing boats set off from the beach, returning with fresh fish to be sold in the local markets. A daily market sells handicrafts and jewellery and the pretty town square is a great place to watch the world go by. Bars and restaurants still sell authentic food and Portuguese wine at reasonable prices. The colours, flavours and aromas create unique moments of gastronomic tradition. In the surroundings of Parque da Corcovada, you can find beautiful, blue flag beaches. Most are served with a bar or restaurant with fantastic seafood and local dishes and the larger beaches feature extensive water sport facilities. Just five minutes walk away is the famous “Strip”, as it is referred to locally. . This is a lively, one kilometre long avenue leading to Praia da Oura (one of the nearby beaches) lined with dozens of cafes, restaurants and bars that keep open to the small hours and provide the very best in night-life entertainment.
Golf on the Algarve is world famous and being centrally located in the Algarve, Parque da Corcovada is an ideal convenient base for golfers. The five Vilamoura courses are only 15 minutes drive away. Balaia, Salgados and Pine Cliffs a mere 5 minutes drive. Other great golf courses like Quinta do Lago, S. Lorenzo and Vale do Lobo or Vila Sol are just an easy half-hour drive away.
A wide range of other activities are available within the area. Tennis and horse riding are all within a 10 minute drive. Albufeira has a well equipped Marina supporting a wide range of water sports and organised activities such as fishing trips, scuba diving, dolphin watching and sailing can all be arranged from the town itself.
The Algarve Shopping Centre is 7km away from the apartment, with 9 cinema theatres, ten-pin bowling, shops, supermarkets, restaurants (including many international names) and free parking.
