New 3 bedroom custom-designed retreat in Craftsman/Adirondack influenced style.

House overlooks 10 acre field and commands sweeping 180 degree views of surrounding hills and the higher peaks of the White Mts. Property spans 65 acres and abuts conservation land. Rural setting just 10 minutes from downtown Plymouth. Two decks allow for maximum enjoyment of the view and pastoral setting. Great for outdoor meals, sunsets, foliage season, or watching hawks and swallows wheeling in the wide open sky. House is a wood-work-lovers delight and is designed to allow views from every room. Living room has lofted ceiling with massive Douglas Fir truss-work, cherry floors, and sleeping loft to allow larger parties. Relax in the glow of the woodstove while watching the sunset.

Kitchen/House Details: Fully stocked kitchen allows serious cooks to be creative: complete with solid surface counters, butcher-block, and high quality cookware. Handwoven Asian wool carpets adorn the gleaming new hardwood floors throughout. Master bedroom has high, trussed ceiling, view deck, and large bathroom with a walk-in glass block shower. Many custom built-ins and a mix of new and antique furnishings enhance the cutting edge design of this unique house.

Get to know the classic New England town of Plymouth, NH. A regional center with a State University.

Numerous restaurants, a small movie theater, a farm stand with the best corn anywhere (in season) and tourist attractions such as the Polar Caves are all in town. Paddlers will enjoy the Pemigewasset or Baker Rivers which join in Plymouth. If sightseeing is your thing, Plymouth's central location makes it ideal for a scenic drive to all that New Hampshire has to offer.

No Student Parties. No groups of persons under age 21. Renters must include a person 25 or older. Organized groups or weddings may inquire.

Motorized recreation such as snowmobiles ORVs or dirt bikes are not allowed on the property.

Property is located between White Mt. and Lakes region and is convenient to Newfound Lake, Squam Lake, Lake Winnipesaukee, Waterville, Tenny, Loon, Cannon and Franconia Notch. On or near the property you can: Fly kites or play frisbee in the large field. Pick wild berries in season. Observe wildlife. Hike on town-maintained walking trails to Rainbow Falls through conservation land donated by owner's family. Ski on back country ski trails recently built on the property. Hike up Plymouth Mt. which rises directly across the road. Mountain bike on miles of rural or primitive abandoned roads.

Closest swimming is 15 minutes to a Town Park on the Pemigewasset River where the current is slow, but there are many other local river swimming options as well as Wellington State Park beach on beautiful Newfound Lake. Many half day family hikes are within a short distance, or take on the big mountains such as the Franconia Range or Mt. Mooselauke, less that an hour away.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful, clean and very comfortable house. The views we spectacular, the house very accommodating and the area easy to get to. Would definitely recommend to friends, family and stay there again.

This is a beautiful house with wonderful views across a meadow and into the hills. The design of the house is modern and attractive and really lends itself to easy, relaxed living. It is a generous home with plenty of sheets, towels, basic food stuff - all available to use. The kitchen is fully equipped and there are more than enough glasses, plates, pans etc. Caretakers live downstairs and are helpful and welcoming. Overall this is a delightful place to stay and I would highly recommend it.

The description of the house was perfect.
Everything was available as indicated in the advertisement. The house was very clean and well maintained. The people responsible have come to us to make sure everything was to our liking.
I highly recommend this place but it is important to have insect repellent!

This is nature at its finest!
Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review. It's great to be able to share the natural beauty there with folks from all over. Of course nature does have it's irritating side. The buggy season usually is from mid May until mid to late July with June often the peak. Please come back some time!

Five couples,all close friends and we had an excellent time!
The house and property are beautiful.
A great place to come home to after a day of site seeing.
Also a home away from home if you like to chill and cook up some food with family and friends.It is very quiet with no interuptions.
We are thinking of going back in the fall.

This lovely home exceeded all of our expectatons. Very comfortable and the views truly were spectacular. The fully equipped kitchen made our food prep a breeze. No wonder it is already booked up this winter. Thanks to John the caretaker.. he was very helpful. Would rent this home again anytime.
