Brookside Cottage is a charming property, situated in the pretty village of Shorwell, an ideal base to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside of West Wight.

Internally, Brookside Cottage offers cosy accommodation complete with a wood burner and large kitchen/dining area. Externally, the pretty garden complete with flagstone patio and cast iron barbecue are perfect for al fresco dining and enjoying the stream that runs down the side of the cottage.

Shorwell is a small village situated in West Wight, benefiting from a local shop and pub. The popular village pub The Crown Inn is opposite Brookside Cottage. This 17th century Inn serves locally sourced, homemade food and have a fine selection of real ale beers.

West Wight is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is the ideal spot for catching a glimpse of the local wildlife, walking or just enjoying the beautiful countryside. From here take a visit to one of the Islands many attractions including Freshwater Bay, Alum Bay’s famous coloured cliffs or the Needles, one of Britain’s most famous landscapes.
