A well-appointed 2 bed bungalow, sleeps 4. Within easy reach of the town

Castaway Cottage is a cosy two bedroom bungalow situated in a quiet area of Brixham. The property offers a peaceful base within easy access of Brixham harbour and the surrounding area.

Internally the property is well-equipped with a newly fitted kitchen and bathroom, a patio door leading out from the living area into a private garden. Externally there is a lovely secluded south facing garden complete with patio furniture perfect for al fresco dining or relaxing after a busy day exploring. The property is accessed by three steps.

The bungalow is in an ideal location for discovering all that Brixham has to offer. Here you will find a delightful harbour to stroll along, a selection of shops, cafes and pubs as well as plenty of restaurants serving up the catch of the day!

Brixham together with Paignton and Torquay make up Torbay, with the resorts offering a combined 22 miles of coastline to explore. If you can tear yourself away from the stunning natural beauty the area offers, there are an array of attractions to fill your days these include, Paignton Zoo, Babbacombe Model Village, Quaywest Waterpark and several National Trust properties.

A cosy coastal town with beautiful views and rambling countryside, Brixham can be found at the south end of the English Riviera. A busy fishing port with a fascinating history, including the inspiration for world famous hymns and being the landing place of William Prince of Orange, this picturesque corner of Devon is a delight to explore. From the bustling harbour filled with trawlers and yachts, to the tranquil nature reserve at Berry Head, there is plenty to enjoy during your stay.

Restaurants, pubs, bistros and cafes line the harbour along with colourful cottages, whilst families can enjoy the many attractions in the region. The coastline is interspersed with coves such as Churston, Fishcombe and St. Mary’s Bay if you are looking for a quieter beach, while Breakwater beach has parking, a lifeguard in the summer and the Breakwater Bistro serving meals and takeaway food.
