The apartment is in a perfect location that stands on the waterfront at Sao Martinho do Porto and is within striking distance of a number of interesting sea side towns and villages, the most well know of which of course is Nazare, just 8 miles north.
This is a duplex apartment with 5 good size bedrooms on the upper floor serviced by a family bathroom and another shower toilet. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated and very comfortable with fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers and French windows onto private balconies.
On the lower level, the spacious lounge/Diner is equipped with with TV, DVD, film collection, music system and has bright airy French windows that lead onto terraces with sea views. It has a fully equipped kitchen all mod cons and a utility room.
The lounge is decorated in delicate pastel shades of nautical blue, cream and turquiose with some interesting objects and artifacts that add to the charm and homeliness here.
-Bedroom 1 with large double bed, wardrobe and bedside tables and en-suite bathroom is beautifully decorated with pretty floral curtains and matching floral bed cover that gives it a bright airy feel and with full size French windows leading onto a balcony.
- Bedroom 2 has two single beds and is decorated in smart contemporary pale olive shades oozes charm and elegance with fitted wardrobe and bedside tables. This bedrooms is on first floor level and is well presented, clean and fresh. The apartment receives plenty of fresh cool sea breezes during the summer, so you have the choice to keep cool in the shade but also take in the sun on the balconies, should that be desired.
- Bedroom 3 has two bunk beds that are ideal for kids or adults again with balcony access with sea views and plenty of natural light and cool breeze during the warm summer.
-Bedroom 4 has a nice size double bed with fitted wardrobes and bed side tables and natural light.
-Bedroom 5 has 2 single beds and is nicely decorated with vibrant colours and on the eastern side so will get you warm sunshine in the mornings.
- Modern family bathroom with full size bath/shower and WC with bidet.

I live and work between the UK and Portugal for most of the year doing free lance consultancy work in Supply chain management for the Automotive industry. It has always been an ambition of mine to move to Portugal and in fact made some important changes which allow me to have a much quieter and more productive life than before.
I have a couple of other properties in the area, but tend to stay at the apartment when possible as this gets me away from having to drive to town. The apartment is walking distance to all the amenities so I literally step across the street for breakfast each morning and then we have a choice of superb restaurants, bars, a supermarket, and some terrific shops all along the beautiful promenade.
If what you want is a quiet lazy sort of holiday with lots of reading, sunbathing and relaxation, then this is definitely the place for you. There is plenty of space and the bedrooms are all on the upper level off the landing. The price for the apartment is very low so is great value.
Price, location and space - these three things make the apartment a real bargain. This is the first year we are letting so would hope to see interest.
Sao Martinho do Porto is a favourite for tourists for their summer holidays and it is not easy to understand why so many thousands flock to this beautiful seaside town every year. It has an amazing beach that is absolutely safe for children to play and also for some serious sunbathing.
With about 3 km of a sandy beach forming a shell shape around the sheltered bay, São Martinho do Porto is a very appreciated summer resort. The calm sea has the perfect conditions for both children and nautical sports such as windsurfing, sailing and canoeing. Here there are several reputable restaurants specialising in local gastronomic specialities such as steamed lobster or stuffed spider crab.
