No.1 The Pier sits in an enviable spot which was once home to the renowned old King’s Hotel. Located on the Prince of Wales Pier, this large apartment is one in an exclusive development which boasts spectacular views, over the harbour and across the bay out towards the Roseland Peninsula. In addition to the panoramic views on offer here, being so close to the gastronomic, historic and cultural delights of Falmouth town, this apartment makes perfect holiday accommodation for those looking to enjoy this enviable location to the full.

Contemporary in its design, The Pier development has a luxurious air which is reinforced by quality touches such as residents’ secure, and allocated parking. Once inside this stunning apartment, you will be immediately struck by its light and space. A duplex apartment, the ground floor of No.1 The Pier is one large, sociable open-plan area and the two bedrooms are located on the upper floor.

The kitchen area here is located towards the back of the ground floor and has generous proportions. A bank of windows cast light onto the wooden floor, white walls and units in this bright room, which houses a modern glass-topped table with six white chairs. The owners have equipped the kitchen with modern appliances including a fridge, dishwasher and washer/dryer.

The open-plan space opens up to double height as you walk from the kitchen into the lounge area. A large sofa and over-sized chairs provide a comfy seating area dotted with cosy cushions in fun, colourful fabrics.

A large, flat-screen Freeview TV with DVD player, WiFi and an X Box have been provided for your entertainment, however, even the most action-packed movie is unlikely to be able to compete with the ever-changing waterside views from the apartment’s front windows.

Step through the front door and the living area extends outside onto a fabulous decked terrace. Enjoy the far-reaching water views over a glass of something chilled from the comfort of the upholstered rattan sofa and chairs, or dine al fresco under the shade of a parasol at the table which seats up to six people.

No. 1 The Pier’s two bedrooms are located on the upper floor, reached by a pretty white-painted staircase which rises up from the living area. The master boasts a king-size bed and en-suite bedroom with W.C. and shower cubicle with power shower. The second bedroom is a good size and offers twin beds. Both bedrooms offer views of Falmouth town and are classically decorated in pale shades with touches of colour introduced by sumptuous soft furnishings. A family bathroom with W.C., deep bath and separate power shower is located on the ground floor.

A wonderful apartment with amazing views

We were expecting to be impressed but The Pier really was even better than we had hoped! The double height living area is really fantastic, and the views across the water from the terrace take some beating. Sitting in the sun watching the holidaymakers down below we really did feel like Royalty!

The furnishings are first class and the lovely bathrooms add a touch of luxury. It was all very clean and we could not fault it. The private parking space is very handy, and driving across the pier to the swish electric gates while envious shoppers looked on made us feel very special!

This is a wonderful property, much better than anything we have stayed in before and worth every penny.
