Gorgeous Setting for our family vacation!!!
Having a duplex was perfect for our family from NY and TN. Each family had their own space, but the houses were large enough to be able to eat and hang out together. It was 20-30 minutes from the Yellowstone gate, so very convenient to visit the park. Steve, the owner, was very responsive to emails/texts. The full bath downstairs is small but very handy to have. The views from front and back of the house were amazing!!! House was stocked with all the necessities - although we were glad our family was next-door as we had to hunt for bowls or large pots a couple times! The only thing I would suggest is that there would be a couple more outside garbage cans as they were full when we arrived and we had to really stuff the bags in....Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay!!! Thank you for sharing your house with us!!

Family Vacation
The cabin was easy to find and in a great location. We came to do a celebration of life and had a service at the Island Park cemetery. We had 10 adults and a baby stay at the cabin and we all felt we had plenty of room. We loved having two kitchens and also some separation time when needed. We used the bbq and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. I also forgot seasoning and there was some in the cupboard. It was great being able to have space for us all to be together. The owner was also super responsive to questions I had before arriving and made had a seamless check in/check out process. We’ll be back for sure!!

Great location, great vacation!
The house was just as promised in the listing; everything was clean and clear. The beds were comfy, but I will say that it's a good thing there were fans in each room! The ceiling fans in the 'master' bedroom didn't really do much for us in the way of circulation, but we borrowed a box fan from one of the other people in our group as they didn't need it, and it worked nicely. The location was great - close to the West entrance of Yellowstone, and not too far from the convenience store or gas station. The surroundings were beautiful - waking up to the mountains and lake were so peaceful and beautiful. Unfortunately, we hit the time of the wildfires in Idaho, and so had a smoky haze which partially obscured the distance views, but it was lovely nonetheless. Steve was great in communicating with me via text! All in all, a great place to stay and enjoy the beauty of nature in the 'wild' - highly recommend to stay and would definitely use it again if I'm in the area!!

What makes this property unique

This property is so unique with it's spectacular views of the wonderful mountains and overlooking beautiful Henry's Lake. Abundant wildlife, the fresh clean smell of the mountain air and the free open spaces. It's close proximity to Yellowstone National Park and to several world class fisheries. Henry's Lake, Lake Hebgen, Quake Lake, Yellowstone Lake, Madison River, Henry's Fork (North Fork of the Snake River), Gallatin River, Yellowstone River and many more. There are so many things to do within a short ride from this home....too many to list...Google it (things to do in... Island Park or West Yellowstone or YNP). You'll want to come back time and again to visit all the wonderful sites and things to do.
