Winter, spring, summer, fall - this outstanding vacation spot offers a peaceful setting with additional access to pools and other amenities. Charming freestanding two-room country cottage located in valley on Jackson/Bartlett line, directly off Rte. 16 north. Convenient access to a multitude of White Mountains attractions and events. Bedroom has queen bed. Main room has bunk beds in a sleeping alcove (not separate room), a pull-out couch and fully-equipped kitchen, as well as living room area with couch, love seat and chair. Deck has grill and picnic table with umbrella surrounded by woodlands view and open space for children to play, and guests to enjoy gazebo and brook. Cottage has a wood stove and gas heat. Cable TV, DVD, VCR. Ideal for a couple or small family. Amenities, including indoor and outdoor pools, Jacuzzis, steam room, game-room pavilion, tennis, rowboats and nightly entertainment (in summer) located in Nordic Village resort. Amenities located at Nordic Village Resort include year-round (very pleasant, even in winter) outdoor heated pool, indoor pool, indoor and outdoor jacuzzis, steam room, bonfires, ice skating & game room pavilion. (Summer: rowboats, tennis and seasonal entertainment). Cottage is less than a mile from Storyland and Heritage, NH, attractions, yet located in its own peaceful and quiet valley of land. 15 miles from Mount Washington. Ten minutes to Attitash-Bear Peak. About a mile from the picturesque village of Jackson, NH. Outstanding foliage viewing. Close to 5 ski areas and many White Mountains attractions, hiking, kayaking, golf courses, Echo Lake State Park, cog railway, scenic railroad, and more. About a 15 minute drive to North Conway shopping and outlets. Location offers day trips to the Kancamagus Highway; Lincoln/Woodstock, NH; Flume Gorge; Old Man of the Mountain; Santa's Village; Six Gun City; and Sunday River in Maine.

Had a very nice time here. Cottage is small but snug and comfortable. Would be very tight for over 4 people, but within those limits, it is fine. Amenities at Nordic village were great; the kids had a wonderful time at the pools there and the rowboats. Owners Tom and Linda were great to deal with! They go out of their way to provide lots of info of things to do in the area.

The cabin worked wonderful for my family of 4. It was 5 minutes from Storyland. Perfect for what we were looking for. The owner was wonderful to work with. She is very prompt in getting back to you and sends you all sorts of information about the area. We had a great stay!!

We booked this place last minute and Linda was so nice to us and made it easy! I can't say enough of how easy she made it and how wonderfuil she was with us!!! The price was better than a hotel; which typically has one room and no kitchen!

It is located in a little village of cottages off the beaten path but close to everything. Storyland was less than 5 mintues away! The house is small; perfect for what we needed it for; sleeping. We had two adults and 3 kids. We also used the resort pool which was great. Our 3 kids loved it! The jacuzzi was awesome too. Great times and great memories! Thanks, Linda!

Our favorite vacation cabin

We have been revisiting this cabin for five years now, and it is like returning home for us each year. Our kids love the bunk beds, and the addition of an air conditioner made us feel even more comfortable. Everything we need is there, to have a wonderful vacation. The amenities are terrific, and our kids enjoy the evening entertainment, and rowing in the boats, and especially the pools and hot tubs across the street. It is the best bargain in town for a family.

I have to say this was overall the best vacation room I have had in a long time, the place is very nice with a huge yard. There is tons of stuff to do. Cabin was clean and cozy but more then I ever could have imagined. Best deal around for the price. Felt like I was at home and the kids loved the pool, and yard!
