The House:
The house sleeps 4 comfortably, 1 double bedroom with a 6 ft
bed and a twin room, both ensuite.
Upstairs there is a homely sitting room with French doors
overlooking the square and to the back more French doors
opening on to our private patio. We have satellite TV, video, DVD
air conditioning/hot and cold and an open fire for cosy
winter evenings.
Throughout the house the flooring is the traditional
terracotta tiling. The kitchen is fully fitted with marble
worktops. It has everything you need to prepare a snack or to
entertain. It has dishwasher, washing machine, tumbler drier,
microwave, fridge freezer, cooker, hob, kettle, toaster, iron
etc.
Marbella & Puerto Banus:
Being in the heart of Marbella and Puerto Banus the choice of
things to do is vast. If you wish to play tennis there are 2
very good clubs, one within 5 mins walk. For golfers there
are too many golf courses to mention. You could play a
different course every day. If your interest is walking there
is beautiful walking in the mountains of the National Park
behind Marbella 15 mins drive from the house.
Inland 10 mins drive away you have the beautiful white washed
villages to explore. If you feel like a day trip there is Seville,Cordoba
Granada and the Alhambra, The Sierra Nevada ski slopes, the
Moorish town of Ronda, Cadiz, Gibraltar and the windy coast
around Tarifa where you can watch 100s of kite boarders, a
fantastic sight. Why not also explore Malaga, the birthplace
of Picasso and visit its newly opened Picasso museum or why
not just relax around our swimming pool.
Ski:
From the house you can drive 2.5 hours to the ski resort in the Sierra Nevada. You could easily go for the day. An easy drive and a very user friendly resort. You could be on the slopes by 11am and enjoy the sunshine. Skiing at over 3000meters.
For the non skiers in the party they could visit the Alhambra Palace nearby in Granada.
Golf:
We are surrounded by very good golf clubs. Plenty of choice and availabilty
Other Activities:
2.5 hours drive from the house you can ski in the Sierra Nevada or visit Andalucain towns of Seville and Granada
