Two miles from Tahoe City and on Lake Tahoe's North Shore, this Lake Tahoe Vacation Rental home is perfect for either a winter or summer vacation. It is conveniently located for skiing at Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Northstar, or Homewood ski areas. The home is also easy and safe to drive to when there is snow on the road, as it is down hill from the main highway (28) to the house, and down hill back to the highway. We are a five minute walk to a quiet beach with a pier and swimming area; two blocks from a bicycle path that takes you to Tahoe City, the West Shore of Tahoe, and along the Truckee to Squaw Valley; three blocks to the entrance to some of the best mountain bike trails of the Sierra Nevada; a two mile walk (or drive) to Tahoe City's excellent shopping and dining spots; within a 15 - 25 five minute drive from nine golf courses and four ski areas.
The Home::
Recent upgrades to our home include: a new kitchen with granite counter tops, tile floor, new appliances, and new cabinets; granite counter tops and new cabinets in the master bath, and tile in the master shower area; tile entry way; new carpet; and repainting of the interior. AND, DSL High Speed Internet is available, wireless or Ethernet.
There are six regular size bedrooms, two small bedrooms, three large bathrooms (configured with two double vanity areas, two bath/toilet areas, and one regular bathroom), two living rooms, two dining rooms, library area, two very well equipped kitchens, two 450 sq. ft. sunny decks, sauna, and a washer/dryer area. We provide a VCR (2), a DVD, large screen TV (2), both with surround sound, a Bose equipped stereo system, a C/D, a well stocked library, a telephone answering machine, and a convenient spot for setting up your lap top/Internet ready computer, DSL wireless or ethernet. We are 15 minutes from Squaw Valley or Alpine Meadows, 10 minutes from Homewood, 25 minutes from Northstar, 25 minutes from Diamond Peak, and about 30 minutes from Mt. Rose. If you've never skied the Sierras, bringn sun block and lots of energy.
Golf:
We are a 15 - 25 five minute drive from nine golf courses, including The Incline Village Championship Course (designed by Robert Trent Jones).
