I love Paris, but somehow whenever someone asks me about recent trip there I start by talking about this apartment first. It was absolutely PERFECT! I was there with my husband but regardless of who are you going with or the occasion, I am sure you'll absolutely fall in love with this place as much as with the rest of Paris.
Apartment: If someone told me that all that would fit in 25m2 I would not believe them. It's not only that it fits but it looks amazing and seams much bigger. It looks very modern with clean lines but it feels warm unlike most of the hotel rooms. Apartment was super clean and looked brand new. Going back to the apartment was always nice because it's in the nice and quite neighborhood. After spending the whole day in the tourist locations, with noise you cannot escape, you'll appreciate this little gem at the end of a day. The owners thought of everything - from the nice bottle of vine waiting for you to the candles in case you need more romance and great coffee and easy to use coffee maker to start your day. I fell in love with shower. I am not sure what is that called - but you can set it up so that water falls from the ceiling. Towels, hair drier, iron and ironing board, TV set, speakers (even 'upstairs' in the bedroom area), internet, everything you might need in the kitchen (from dishes to fridge and microwave) are in there.
Area: It's few minutes walk to Louvre and Notre-Dame. My husband and I were planning to walk only to Opera so that we can purchase tickets for one of the bus tours, but ended up falling in love with the whole area and continued our walk from Opera and La Fayette shopping center to, Arc De Triomphe, Eiffel Tower and returned along the Seine to see the Obelisk and through Louvre back to the apartment. If you don't like walking as much, there are plenty metro stations and bus stops close to the apartment. You will find some of the best travel guides in the apartment (they even have one from DK publishing that I like the best) and plenty of maps.
Back to the airport: We walked with our suitcases to the metro station in order to take the metro to the Charles de Gaulle airport. It was one line all they way so easy and inexpensive way to get there.
Food: There is grocery store few doors from the apartment building (for anything you might need) as well as plenty of bakeries and restaurants with amazing food.
Would I recommend this to someone: Definitely!!! I hope to go back there - we loved it!!!
