|Minimum Stay||4 nights|
This charming duplex studio is located in a 2nd floor (no lift) in a classic french neighborhood steps away from the famous Place des Victoires. The studio has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bedroom is located in a mezannine and the bathroom and kitchen are fully equipped.
We totally enjoyed our 5 day stay in this nice little unique apartment. It is exactly as advertised and everything listed in the ad is available to the guest. It was really clean and the area was very safe.
Tatiana was prompt in replying to our email enquiries both during and after the booking process. We called her agent from CDG airport as we were about to get on the RER and he was waiting for us with the key and an orientation to the apartment and the area (tip: confirm the way you dial the local number from the airport and not from a foreign country).
There is a good supermarket just steps away. We had breakfast and late night snacks in the apartment and the rest of the day was for exploring (tip: we brought our own Nespresso coffee from home for the coffee maker). The bed is fabulous -- firm and comfortable.
Location is great. We were walking and on the Metro exclusively. The airport and Versailles are each about 50 minutes away. Montmartre(Sacre Coeur - 30 min), Eiffel Tower (30) and Arc/Champs (20) were all easy by Metro. Notre Dame and the Louvre are each walkable in less than 15 minutes.
Tip: Due to location: a Roissy bus leaving CDG airport to Opera station is an option for you. Opera is just two Metro stops from Bourse which is itself just 250 metres from the apartment. Cost is about same as train -- 10 euro payable to driver.
There is Wi-Fi in the apartment. Tip: We used a great app from the local RATP travel authority to plan our routes the night before. Didn't really need a data plan for phone.
We would not hesitate to use this apartment again if we are able to travel to Paris in the future. If our stay was representative you can book here with confidence.
My husband & I stayed here for 5 nights in November. It was wonderful. It's small but has everything you need. It's a good location - close enough to the Metro, safe neighborhood.
The apartment and location are perfect for a couple. The owner was very responsive during the booking request and a representative met us at the apartment. The unit itself is clean and modern and really cool (the glass floor in particular). Although small the unit is very functional. We ate breakfast in the apartment daily and the grocery and bakery are just steps away. The coffee/expresso machine was much appreciated as well as the fast wifi.
As a previous reviewer noted, the apartment is in safe and quiet part of Paris, but close to plenty of restaurants, museums and close to Sentier and Bourse Metro stations. We also liked its proximity to the Tuileries Garden (where we walked/exercised), Marais, Pompiduo Center, Rue Montorgueil, and the Japanese Restaurants near Palace Royal (for a change or taste).
For future travelers, I would suggest taking a taxi or shuttle from the airport as the apartment is not visible from the street (it’s accessed in an alley behind a big red door next to Chez Georges). We did take the Metro/RER back to the airport and this worked fine. It was hard to leave as we loved the apartment and Paris.
We get lose at the arrival day , the owner was patiented to help us get to the apartment , we are very thanks for that . The place is very beautiful and clean , it has every thing we need .We can walk to many attractions , and supermarket is nearly on the street , we love this place very much and plan to come back next summer .
We stayed at this apartment for 12 nights and enjoyed our time immensely. Here are lists of reason what made our stay so enjoyable. It's perfect for first timers and also returning travelers like us. Many historic sites are within walking distance and the location of this apartment makes seeing half (right bank) of Paris seem easy in this vast city.
-Bakeries: our favorite is Regis Colin on Rue Montmarte for best baguette and other pastries
-Restaurants St. George is in the same building as the apartment and Swan is right across and there are many more to choose from
-Marche Franprix, a comprehensive grocery store is on the same block
-Asian grocery store K-mart and many Korean and Japanese restaurants to enjoy hot soup of or rice dishes
-Many small boutiques to shop for clothing, shoes, bags, and local design work like display pillow and tapestry to other home accessories
-Metro stations Sentier and Bourse are each one block away: makes getting around in entire Paris very easy
-Bus line 29 stop is one block away
-Neighborhood is the safest place among places we've stayed in the past
-Tatiana, the owner, went out and bought us extra coffee pods when we arrived which made both me and my husband very happy as we drink espresso every morning
-Apartment was quipped with everything we needed to cook and clean including vacuum cleaner and Nespresso coffee machine
-Comfortable and firm bed
Above list can go on and on but if I may think of any negatives, it'll have to be the sofa. We didn't use it during our stay as it wasn't in its best condition. Instead, we used fold-able dining table and chairs. The apartment could have felt larger to us if we decided to use the sofa but this didn't interfere with our stay.
Most of all, we appreciated Tatiana leaving us alone but promptly answering all our inquiries during our stay. Need a place to stay in Paris? Look no further, this apartment will meet all your expectation with its ideal location and convenience.
I came for buisness and I Spend 5 beautifull days in Paris. The apartment is close to everything! Place des victories, Louvre, Opéra , place Vendome and also very close to the good restaurants and bakery. I’m working in design, and this apartment is a great creation ! For a single or a couple, you have all the confort you need, everything is simply beautifull and lovely. On the first floor, walking on the glass floor is a really special experience ! The bulding and the neighborhood looks also so “ old Paris “ that everyone can imagne. Thanks to the owner, I will certainly return this summer , this time for holidays and certainly a crazy shopping !
this beautiful studio is located in the center of the City of Lights. Steps away from the Place des Victoires, and minutes away from the Louvre, the Seine river, the Opera house, the department stores in Grands Boulevards and Les Halles. This classic french neighborhood is surrounded by countless cafes and restaurants, as well as shops and museums. Perfect location for an unforgettable trip to Paris.
