2 bedroom apartment with terrace and a fabulous view over Lisbon and the Tagus,

Located in the central and charming neighborhood of Estrela/Lapa and very well served of transports, this cozy flat in the top floor of a 18th century building, consists of a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, a twin bedroom, (with a small extra bed), a double bedroom , and a living room, with a wonderful terrace overlooking the town and the river Tagus. All divisions are very comfortable and well decorated and wireless internet access and cable TV are available.

Bed linen, fresh towels and cleaning once a week are included.

You will also find maps and touristic leaflets at the apartment.

All details have been thought to enable you to spend a wonderful time in Lisbon.

In addition, this flat is at walking distance, not only from supermarkets, groceries and pharmacies, but also from nice and trendy restaurants, cafes, bakeries, shops museums and a lot more this town has to offer. The neighborhood is in fact well known for its wonderful restaurants and lively night-life, having recently been designated as the Design District.

Among the several public transports, connecting this area with Lisbon’s most charismatic and historic spots, a special reference should be made to old yellow trams 25 and 28, with a strategic stop just around the corner, opposite to the Estrela Cathedral. Both of them provide unforgettable tours through all old neighborhoods and other major attractions.

In case you want to explore further, you can always catch nearby tram 15, leading to Belém, or even the train – at the railway station of Santos – which takes you to the coast villages of Estoril and Cascais.

I have lived all my life in the neighborhood, just 5 years ago I moved to Campo de Ourique

I love meeting people from abroad and I deal with my guests directly – from key exchanges, to cleaning, to repairs, and all the help that guests might need.

I try to help, in order to make you feel truly at home.

Because I know very well the neighborhood, and I fell in love with the house and the wonderful view of the river and city.

This apartment has a great view over the city and the river. It's full of sunlight all year round.

The building is original from the XVIIIth century, right after the great earthquake of Lisbon which took place in 1755. It was built in a typical 'Pombalino' style, a type of construction and architecture that are protected by law and candidate to UNESCO's World Heritage Patrimony classification. The building is mainly assembled with wooden beams, in a “cage” like structure inspired in naval construction from the period. A type of construction quite advanced for its time and considered to be the first anti-earthquake type of construction in the world. It is flexible, but it doesn’t break.

The renovation of the building and the apartment took in consideration this historical heritage. However, you will find a modern apartment .

The flat is located very close to the main places that you want to see in Lisbon.
Apartment itself has everything what is needed for your stay and a very nice tarace with a beautiful view. Fully reccomandable.

Come feel the beat of this charismatic neighbourhood, which will contribute to a fruitful stay in this luminous city. The neighbourhood Estrela is located South of Bairro Alto and has plenty of traditional Portuguese restaurants and is on Janelas Verdes Street that you can visit the National Museum of Ancient Art.

Known to have often design events, is home to a number of showrooms and studios, as well as great night-life, especially on the nights of Friday and Saturday, but far away enough from the house to have some quiet vacations.

From here you can easily walk to Bairro Alto, Chiado, Baixa and Rossio Square. You can also catch a train that takes you to know, a journey of just 30 minutes, the line of Cascais.

It is 5 minutes’ walk from Portuguese Parliament, the River Tagus and the Museum of Ancient Art. Strolling along the river can be reached in 15 minutes to downtown. The street is pedestrian area with shops, fruit and vegetables, Pingo Doce supermarket that has already made food to take away.
