Watch beautiful sunrises over the ocean in the morning and magnificent sunsets over the sound in the evening. Relax and soak up the sun, cool off with a refreshing dip in the crystal blue waters of your own private pool or create a special island drink at the poolside Tiki bar. Convenient to Duck Village, take a short stroll to restaurants, quaint shops and water sports. Interior lovingly decorated with lots of nautical details; brightly colored linens make every bedroom special. This home has lots to offer. Beach access is approximately 600 yards with parking.

(For an additional fee and a week's notice, guests can have the pool heated).

Savor a variety of casual fine dining experiences at unique local restaurants. Catch your own dinner - go fishing in the surf on your own beach, from a fishing pier, or from one of the deep-sea charter boats. Take an ATV outback tour to see the famous mustangs in the Currituck Wild Horse Sanctuary. For the fitness enthusiast go jogging or bicycling along the Duck roadside path. Sit back and relax while enjoying a sightseeing cruise. Explore one of the nature preserves to view the many species of waterfowl and birds indigenous to the island. We had an absolutely perfect week. Weather was great, afternoon storms. The pool was excellent -- the boys (children & adults) loved the pool basketball goal & all the rafts, etc. We greatly appreciated the gate @ top of steps & all the outlet covers! The movie choices for kids were great. Ping pong during naptime was fun for the adults. There was not one thing that we could've needed. Poolside grill was great -- no propane for gas grill; thankfully we didn't need it.:) Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Relaxing, Stress Free Vacation

Your house is awesome! We had the best time. I really do not want to leave and go back to reality. It was so nice to spend time with my kids. The pool was great!! It was worth the 14 hour trip in 100 degree weather to get here. My sons loved the ping pong table and basketball goal. Thank you for sharing your home -- it has everything and more for a relaxing, stress free vacation!!

Family Vacation

We really enjoyed our family vacation -- 1st one to OBX! Duck & The Pelican's View have been very hospitable. The house has everything we needed! The ping pong table was certainly a plus, but we recommend sharper knives [Note: knives were replaced]-- just in case, it's the only thing we'll be bringing next year! Thank you, Thank you!
