Best in Alfama

If you are looking for a great place to stay in Lisbon, then you can't go past this property. It is in a central position close to everything. My wife and I walked everywhere to see the major sites, other than Belem area which you have to catch a bus to.
The apartment is fully equipped with everything you might need. We stayed there for 5 nights and loved it. The apartment is very clean and any groceries you might need during your stay would be available in the shop just outside your front door in the narrow street. There are lots of restaurants and Fado clubs to visit.
The owner, Paulo, is just wonderful. He went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. He even picked us up from the airport and took us to the apartment. He showed us how everything worked and where things were situated in the area. He even helped to take us to the the car hire office at the end of our 5 day visit He is most helpful and we are very indebted to his kindness and service.
If you want to experience Lisbon, then the narrow streets of Alfama is the way to go. You will not regret taking this apartment for a few days as the position is perfect and Paulo's service is great. We are in our early 60's and fit enough to go up the stairs to the apartment.
