2 Bedrooms, Double & Twin Bunks, sleeps 4, with full heated bath, tub & shower.

Shore Acres Cottage is located between Ellsworth and Bar Harbor, nestled on the edge of pristine Acadia National Park. The beach and picnic area is an enjoyable three-minute walk from the cottage along a wooded country road. The state park, with boat dock and launching area, is only one half mile north of the cottage.

The cottage is fully insulated and has a monitor furnace and an electric hot water heater for your year-round comfort. The cottage is supplied with linens, blankets and beach chairs. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed; the other has twin-size bunks. HERE IS WHERE MEMORIES OF YOUR VACATION WILL LAST A LIFETIME! Be sure to ask for a ride in one of our Model T Fords. And last but not least, Blunt's Pond, a retired fresh water reservoir, is currently a town fresh water beach only two miles away, see picture, where a refreshing swim, picnic, or just relaxing, may be enjoyed.

Bar Harbor is approximately a 20 mile drive and Bangor about 37 miles.

Beautiful Setting

We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage. We found that the cottage was central to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Winter Harbor, Bangor, and Cranberry Island. It was no more than 1 hour to get to any of these areas. The owners joined us for dinner and gave us a wonderful memorable ride in their 1926 Model T. We walked about 5 minutes to watch the sun rise at Lamoine Beach. The cottage was very clean and well maintained and just as advertised. I would recommend to anyone to stay and we would love to come back.
Owner's Response: This is our 16th season at Shore Acres. The enjoyment for us is to experience our guests having a good time in these beautiful surroundings. We so do appreciate and thank these folks for there review. CW & MHH
