Kevin & Susan left their Kent Cottage & the busy life of commuting
to life their dream - renovating a charming Alpine Farmhouse & then indulging their passions for entertaining , cooking, home-making and of course skiing.
Susan was a manager for John Lewis in Oxford Street and Kevin
was in the plumbing business in Tunbridge Wells .
We just fell in love with the house, the location, and the villages around. We were on a short break during the New Year holidays & Just saw it in the estate agents. We couldn't view it until after the weekend - so we explored the ski area and as that was very impressive, when we viewed the house we in a good frame of mind not to be daunted by the dilapidated condition of the house.
The location is excellent, on the valley floor so I don't have to worry about narrow mountain roads. 3 min drive & easy free parking, then up on gondola & we're skiing, & we can ski down.
We can walk to our favourite restaurants/bars
The views still take my breath away,I think the pink light on the snow glad mountains will always be the 'highlight'
