The location is quite superb with buses that take you straight into the city and is walking distance to the ever so quaint Portobello Market and the very trendy and stylish Notting Hill Gate, further are Bayswater and Hyde park on that route. The very popular WestWay Shopping mall in Shepherds Bush is a short ride away and Paddington is 10 minutes away also.
