This development is situated in Jamestown Park, Holetown, in the heart of Barbados' west coast. The apartments are only a 4 minute walk to Settlers beach; also within walking distance is the very up scale shopping complex Lime Grove, where you can find the finest high end retailers, as well as restaurants, bars, cafes and a cinema. The apartments have been built with the emphasis on outdoor living, with open-plan spaces and full-width sliding doors leading onto large private patios, in addition to a shared swimming pool on site.

The apartments come equipped with all the amenities you could ask for. The double bedroom has air conditioning, additional ceiling fans and a wardrobe. The American style kitchen and living spaces, also suited with ceiling fans, means you'll have a comfortable space to enjoy TV and WiFi. Best of all is the private outdoor space: the large patio comes with a dining table and four chairs, as well as lounge chairs and a drinks table for your pleasure. We look forward to your stay!

Things to do: Atlantis Submarine, Tall Ship Cruises, diving, swimming with turtles, moonlit walks across the beach. Visit Harrison's Cave, stalactite and stalagmite formations in an underground cavern only explored in the 1970's, or explore the Barbadian Sugar Plantation Houses, and visit the Flower Forest and Orchid World. Alternatively, have a fabulous lunch or sunset dinner cruise on the Harbour master or Tiami sipping rum punches whilst enjoying a fabulous sunset, or opt for a pirate cruise on the Jolly Roger. If you prefer a land based restaurant, then you could visit some of the spectacular restaurants that are to be found on the island, these include the renowned Tides restaurant, Calabaza and Fish Pot restaurants. Life does not get better than romantic candlelit dining at the sea's edge at these spectacular restaurants, all within walking distance of our apartment. Ixora Kerensa is on the ground floor with direct access to the communal swimming pool. Sliding doors lead onto the patio where there is a table and 4 chairs, plus a love seat, 2 chairs and a drinks table. The American style kitchen / lounge has contemporary white furnishings with a leatherette sofa, side tables, breakfast bar, and satellite TV, ipod dock, local telephone and wifi. The double bedroom, with white leather queen bed, fitted mirrored wardrobe and bathroom with shower. The fully fitted kitchen has a washing machine, utensils including a blender for those delicious rum cocktails. A small safe is also fitted for your personal items.

Would 100% recommend!

Stayed in Pierre De Terre apartment 3. Was a lovely modern and clean apartment situated brilliantly for the centre of Holetown, with just a few minutes stroll to a beach, bars, bus stop and the shopping centre. The small pool area was lovely and clean and there was never anybody there. We didn't use it either but it was great if you didn't want to use the beaches.
The agent was very efficient and kind enough to let us stay until 2pm on check out day for no extra charge.
We felt safe here due to good security but to be honest, felt safe in Holetown generally. The apartment had everything you might need and the free wifi was very useful.
Holetown itself is fantastic, expensive, but fantastic. We wouldn't hesitate to return to Holetown and Ixora apartments.

Beautiful Barbados

Very nice apartment, lovely peaceful surroundings with lots of local wildlife and easy walk to beach and all local amenities, excellent choice of restaurants all a short walk away. The building, gardens and pool are very clean and well maintained. We were lucky enough to stay when some of the other owners were there and they couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Would definitely return.

We just keep returning

love this development, it is small, friendly, and extremely well looked after. We spent three weeks in Kerensa and it was everything we hoped for - very well equipped and of course spotless. The outside area is well positioned for easy access to the pool and also a very sociable area. Only a very short walk to Holetown where there are numerous bars, restaurants and a large supermarket. We found things slightly cheaper this year, which is probably due to the fact that the cost of living in the UK has risen. Among our favourite places to eat were Flindt (great burgers) and Tides in Holetown, Lone Star and Island Plates in Speightstown. We ate at these restaurants at lunchtime which is always better value and you make the most of any sea views. Great music at the Golden Anchor on a Friday night, which is a short walk away and it's really cheap. A must is a visit to the One Love Bar in First Street on Sunday night - karaoke was never like this in the UK!

Ixora kerensa #4 is perfect

In a nutshell, Ixora kerensa 4 was the perfect place for our stay in Barbados. We wanted to be close to the action (beach, bars, shopping, restaurants, sight seeing), but not be stuck in a touristy area. Holetown is it, baby! We walked everywhere we needed to go: beach, nightlife, grocery store, ATM, shopping and felt perfectly safe even after midnight. Where else do you find that anymore? Nowhere but Barbados, at least in my experience. We are already planning our return.
To get to Bridgetown or other places beyond walking distance, we took the bus which was the easiest thing in the world. $2 Barbados, they run every 10-15 minutes or so, safe, clean, friendly, efficient, inexpensive...perfect.
We found the apartment to be just as it's described on the Website. It's clean, comfortable, has all the amenities, all the appliances worked perfectly, and it's well decorated. The other residents in the building were extremely nice and helpful to us as first timers in Barbados, and the surrounding neighbors were also warm and inviting. Agnes was a delight and very helpful in her capacity as "apartment concierge." She even gave us a ride to the airport our last day, even though it was 5 in the morning!!
We took advantage of the pool every day--it was perfect after a busy day seeing the sights. And it gave us a chance to meet our fellow apartment residents while enjoying a refreshing Banks beer.
I can't say enough about Barbados and how much we fell in love with the country, the island, and its people. Our stay at Joan's apartment was reflective of Barbados itself (clean, smart, simultaneously fun & relaxing, and safe), and was integral to our overall Barbados experience--we can't wait to return.

Holetown is approximately a 35 minute drive from the airport. In the immediate vicinity you will find restaurants, bars and a very fine bakery/patisserie. The centre of Holetown is about a 5 minute stroll from the apartment and include multiple shops, banks, post office, police station etc. The newly opened Lime Grove Lifestyle Centre is a fabulous oasis in the centre of Holetown and showcases many designer boutiques including Ralph Lauren, Armani Exchange and Breitling to name but a few, stylish coffee shops, bars and restaurants allow for relaxation whilst browsing, The centre also incorporates a gym and beauty salon to rejuvenate even the weariest shopper. The shopping mall has a coffee area, small duty free Cave Shepherd outlet, a well stocked supermarket, Internet café and boutiques. An additional walk of 5 minutes will bring you to a larger Cave Shepherd Duty Free shop.

There are numerous bars/restaurants within walking distance for a variety of budgets. There are restaurants specialising in Italian, Indian or Thai as well as traditional Bajan food.

The island has the relatively tranquil Caribbean Sea on the west coast and and on the east coast the invigorating Atlantic Ocean.
