Perfect get-away

  • 5 of 5
My husband and I chose the casita in Santa Fe to spend a week celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. The casita was everything we expected and more! The location was perfect - close enough that we could get to town in minutes, plus convenient to all of the surrounding attractions that were on our to-do list, but far out enough that we felt completely removed from any hustle-bustle of the city. The furnishings are very nice, but also quite comfortable. The kitchen is suitably stocked with utensils and supplies for a vacation (I love to cook, so I brought my own spices, knives, and a few extra things I knew I'd need - and a quick trip to Whole Foods set us up for the week). The grill outside worked perfectly. The hot tub was just right for two and the view from the living/dining area is beautiful. The bathroom is very nice and quite spacious, TV had plenty of channels and the washer/dryer was an added convenience. We found a few minor things that needed a little TLC but the owner was very responsive and they in no way impacted our stay. Overall, we absolutely loved everything and will definitely try to stay here again on our next visit.

Quiet, Cozy House with Beautiful Views!

  • 5 of 5
My husband, dog, and I spent the Memorial Day weekend in this lovely casita, and I will say it was a complete pleasure. The house was easy to find and close to everything but felt like it was farther outside the city; it was always quiet and peaceful, which is exactly what we wanted. It had all the amenities we needed, and was very clean. I would definitely recommend this property for a getaway!

Enjoyable stay

  • 5 of 5
We got everything we asked for and more. The house was very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and bathroom was luxurious. Heidi was extremely helpful in providing information about Santa Fe. The only thing we found was there is only one queen bed in the house, so if you have two or more kids, check with Heidi, and she might be able to make accommodation for extra sleeping bed. The place is also very conveniently located, 2.5 miles from the plaza and 17 miles from the ski basin.

Quiet vacation getaway

  • 5 of 5
I really enjoyed my stay. It is a very little quaint place with most everything you need to make a nice meal if needed and relax. The hot tub while small, is a perfect thing for a nice romantic getaway.

Lovely Casita

  • 5 of 5
Casita Nomad was an excellent place to stay in late September/early October. We had read the reviews so knew what to expect. Great view, short drive into Santa Fe, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom with a jetted tub, extra beach towels for the hot tub, hair dryer, clothes washer & dryer, and Wifi. We did call the manager to get the WiFi modem reset, which was resolved quickly. A Comcast DVR remote control didn't work so instead we used a small black Comcast controller. The place was very clean, quite modern, nicely decorated, and the outdoor area was more spacious than it appeared in the pictures. Although it's next to a larger house, it seemed quite private. Be aware that the kitchen had three frying pans with ~8" diameter bottoms but nothing larger. No dishwasher. On our last night we tried to use the outdoor grill but it didn't work - perhaps out of gas? Regardless, we would recommend this place to others as a base for making trips to Santa Fe and the surrounding areas - Puye and Bandolier cliff dwellings, Taos Pueblo, Sanctuario de Chimayo, and Los Alamos Museum, to name a few.
