Relax in your own pool and jacuzzi after a hard day at the Disney and Universal! Or battle it out on the PlayStation, or the table football. Keep in touch with the office using hi-speed broadband. Beautiful, large home with pool and spa in a gated community 10 minutes from Disney and 15 from Universal Orlando. 1 King, 1 queen, 1 double and 2 twin rooms, plus queen-size sofa beds in living areas. Three huge living areas, allowing everyone plenty of space for different indoor activities. All linen, including towels available for up to 14 people. 3 TVs, 2 DVD/VCR. The pool and spa are within a screened enclosure, equipped with patio furniture and loungers. Supermarket (Publix) and video rental 2 minutes drive away. Restaurants, shopping mall, and banks are a 3 minute drive. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Free phone calls, including international. Broadband internet. So plenty to do when you have had enough of Disney and the theme parks. Pool and spa can be heated in winter.

Harbor Lakes is a gated community about 7 miles south west of Orlando airport. About 15 minutes from Disney (8 minutes to Disney on a good day!), 15 minutes to Sea World, and up to 20 minutes to Universal. Florida Mall is about 5 minutes drive. Disney is a straight drive down the fast Florida Greenway 417. Going the other way on the same road takes you to Kennedy Space Center - check the KSC website for shuttle launch dates.

Notes: There is plenty to do in the house if you tire of the theme parks. Table football, Playstation 2, 100 cable TV channels, 2 DVD players, 2 videos, and small libraries of books and DVDs. Keeping in touch with the office or with loved ones is easy with high-speed broadband and free phone calls to anywhere in the US, Canada, S America and Europe. Harbor Lakes is a mixed holiday and residential community. The neighbours are friendly and happy to provide advice about restaurants and local attractions. There is a childrens play area and community pool, and the house backs onto a small lake. All crockery and utensils are provided, and if anything goes wrong, the welcoming management company are just a phone call away to sort things out while you enjoy your holiday. Wheelchair users have stayed in the house, and report that there is plenty of room to manouvre them - ask for details of what is possible and what is not.

Further details for this vacation rental in Orlando, Florida

There is plenty to do in the house - PlayStation, table football, the large pool and spa, 100 cable channels, plenty of DVDs and books, and plenty of space. Phone calls are free, so hook up your laptop to the internet, or call your friends back home. The house was built in June 2004, so all the furniture and soft furnishings are still new, the washing machine, tumble drier and TVs should all work without maintenance visits, and it should all look fresh. The management company is also keen to make your holiday memorable - they want you to return just as much as we do, so they are happy to arrange cots, high chairs, and more. Ask us - if we can do it, we will. A meet & greet service is available from Orlando International airport for $50 - we just need to know flight numbers and departure airports.

Harbor Lakes is close to the theme parks, but in a fairly residential area - so plenty of 'real' local Florida shops and restaurants. The welcome information in the house will tell you the great places to eat, and don't be afraid to ask the neighbours.

Other Activities: theme parks, airboat rides and other attractions nearby. Kennedy Space Centre 40 minutes.

This property was everything and more that was described in the property details.After a hard day at the theme parks,which were all easy accessible from the location,it was great to come back and cool off in the pool and relax in the jacuzzi.The villa had everything that was required to make this a holiday in heaven.We will be going back as soon as possible,highly recommended.

It was a huge, fantastic house with plenty of room for 6 of us. With the pool, TVs and Playstation all 3 generations had something to keep us busy. The pool was excellent, and didnt need heating in June.

The house seemed comfortable with very few signs of wear and tear, and we all had our own space when we wanted it. There were plenty of towels, spare sheets and kitchen things as we eat in a lot.

The location and description were accurate - it really was 15 minutes (maximum) to the disney attractions. I'd have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone, and we plan to return soon.

As for the booking process, it was very simple and easy, and the owner was very helpful.
