My family and I had a chance to stay at this property and we had a wonderful time. The house was immaculate and well prepared for all 12 of us with sheets, linens, beds, etc. The property was pet friendly and as scary as it sounds large enough for the 5 dogs that accompanied us in our stay. The house sits on a beautiful secluded peninsula with paths to both a dock and an area that you can wade into the water. The owner was very friendly happy to help in any way that would make our stay more comfortable. Our stay was everything that we were looking for, Thanks.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

house and property were great.large well manicured property and great location on a point between two lakes.the owner was nice enough to rent a pay per view event that our family did not want to miss and that was greatly appreciated.the house seemed to need a little updating,(dock needs repair) a good cleaning and maybe an exterminator.The house is infested with mice.spent a better part of each night chasing them.I called owner to ask for some traps hoping he would send an exterminator.he promised traps but they never came.I also kind of expected a follow up email as far as the mice situation goes.with a little attention place could easily be rated excellent.

Owner's Response: Dave and his family were very nice renters, easy to deal with and really respectful of our property. I agree there are some things that could be done to bring the property back to the condition it was when it was our home but the mouse thing was perplexing. I have had back to back renter all summer and two renters since Dave and not one had mentioned the mice. I asked my housekeeper to set a few traps and look for mouse poop, she said she has not seen anything. Not doubting Dave just no other evidence.
