This comfortable apartment is situated on the upper slopes of an attractive Andalucian style village complex San Juan De Capistrano which nestles serenely above the town of Nerja on the foothills of the Almijara mountains - yet less than a mile away from the town centre and main beaches. The south facing terrace gives panoramic views of the town and mediterranean, whilst the northern side backs straight onto the pine clad Almijara mountains.(National Park)

San Juan has a large pool for residents, a childrens pool and play area, poolside bar/restaurants and a small supermarket.There is a regular bus service into Nerja,a picturesque town with the famous Balcon de Europa promenade. A wide variety of shops,restaurants cafes and bars.Spectacular coastline with many coves and bays. The nearest golf course (Baviera Golf) is approximately 20 minutes drive west of the apartment on the N340 towards Malaga. Two miles away the famous Nerja caves are situated close to the magnificent working Roman Aquaduct just outside the tiny seaside village of Maro. Amongst the caves attractions is the worlds largest stalactite. Nearby are the Moorish hillside villages of Competa and Frigliana the latter only 8 kilometres away, (was recently voted the most beautiful mountain village in Spain).Further afield are the lakes and courtryside around Vinuela (35 minutes). The amazing Alhambra Palace at Granada (90 minutes) .Torremolinos & Benalmadena (60 minutes).

  • Access to apartment is after 2pm. Departure must be by 10am. Normally Saturday to Saturday bookings. Whenever possible we will try to be flexible
    A non -refundable deposit of £100 is required. Balance to be paid six weeks before departure. Key instructions etc will be sent on receipt of final payment.
  • Prices are for one week and include electricity and a weekly change of bed linen and towels.
    Discounts are available for long winter lets from 31st October 2009 to 27th March 2010.

Notes: The property is accessed via a number of steps (which are staggered). The 23m2 terrace has two tables with seating for up to seven people. Two sun loungers+ BBQ. There are two free standing electric heaters and two electric fans. Iron/ironing board and hairdryer provided. There is a separate shower cubicle in the bathroom. NO SMOKING inside the apartment as we are non-smokers. However, we have no objection if smoking is confined to the terrace only. Beach/pool towels are not provided. The Centre of Nerja and all the beaches including the very popular Burriana beach is just one mile away. Access is very easy even without a car. There is a bus (1 euro per person) between San Juan and Nerja leaving 15 mins before and 15 mins after each hour (3 minutes from the apartment) throughout the day until midnight in high season and until 9.00pm the rest of the year. A taxi is very reasonable, with a fixed price of 7 euros at any time day or night.

Getting there/.Further notes: The nearest airport is Malaga, Journey time to the apartment is 45 minutes. A car is not essential. There is a regular bus service from the Airport to Nerja. A taxi from the airport will take 4 people and cost approximately 65 euros. Parking - There is a parking area at the bottom of the steps leading to the apartment. FURTHER NOTES Whilst we welcome children, parents of young children may wish to consider that there are a number of steps to the apartment and also young children will need to be monitored on the terrace. SWIMMING POOL The pool is open from the beginning of April until the end of October.

Nearest Golf course: Baviera Golf is approximately 20 minutes drive west from the apartment on the N340 towards Malaga.

Had a fantastic time here in June 2007.

Went with my husband and little 3 year old girl so the location being so close to the wonderful swimming pool (all of the staff there are so friendly) and the great restaurants just infront, is perfect for those who want a relaxing holiday without having to bother with a car, taxi etc..

There are quite a few steps to the apartment, but after a day or 2 you become used to it & its great exercise--the views once in are definitely worth it !

I have now emigrated to Oz so cant sadly visit for awhile but am really jealous of those of you who will have the opportunity.

The owners were fantastic from my initial enquiry all the way through to the end of the trip & they are very lucky to have such a wonderful home.

Couldnt recommend this place highly enough, not for those with knee problems etc or for those who like really active holiday - perfect for families and couples who dont want to rush around and want to enjoy scenery.

Haben hier fantastische und ruhige Momente verlebt.Ausblick aufs Meer und die Berge war wunderschön,die Anlage als solche ist schon ein besonderer Reiz für Menschen, die sich nicht in einer Hochhaus - Wohnung wohlfühlen.Die Einrichtung hat einen spanisch-britischen Flair.
Der Gemeinschaftspool ist nur 2 Gehminuten entfernt,hier sind auch 2 Restaurants mit vornehmlich englischen Speisen ansässig. Als Strand empfehlen wir den Buriana Beach, der sehr gepflegt und schön flach ist.Besonders gut geeignet für Familien mit klein-Kindern.Ein Auto fürs einkaufen und Shopen ist von Vorteil,am Ende der Stadt ist ein großer Mercadona-Supermarkt mit täglich frischem Salat und Obstangebot.
Wir haben uns gut untergebracht und wohl gefühlt,das war nicht unser letzter Urlaub hier.
