Heat wave horror

The view was breathtaking. The rooms were clean and as advertised. The problem was the heat. The "joke"in their instruction packet said that there was "natural A/C", an attic fan. There were fans in every room, but the "usual" temps for that time of yr should have been 70's -50's. It never got below 80. My wife & I had to "try" to sleep with ice packs on our foreheads & chests. The weather was not the owners fault, but, a house this nice should have air conditioning. My wife was too exhausted to do anything after the 1st day,a hike to the Falls. She never left the cabin after that. She could never get enough rest to be able to do any other hikes. We went to the mountains to get away from the heat!
At least the view beats anything in Houston.
