In good taste
Just a walk away from many of London’s finest attractions lies a piece of history. Exquisite antique furniture provides a polished foil for precious objects from across the globe. Yet, Warwick Square is not stuck in a time warp far from it. For alongside the objects trouvés, you’ll find contemporary artwork and some decidedly modern comforts. Supremely swish, utterly comfortable, this airy two bedroom home will delight you at every turn.
A view from the bridge
Warwick Square is the city bolthole of your hosts, whose primary residence is in in Oxford. Working in education and holidaying in Spain, this pair enjoy dealing antiques, and cards…
If you’re the sort who focuses in on small details, you’ll quickly spot your hosts’ gorgeous collection of elephants, modelled in jade of every hue and scattered all around Warwick Square. For those whose focus is macro, rather than micro, it’s the high ceilings, the up-to-date kitchen and the L shaped leather sofa that will draw the eye.
The master bedroom boasts a superking sized bed and a window seat from which to admire our crisp white luxury linen. Head into your en suite wetroom, or go and find the study. Here, you’ve an antique writing desk, plus a single bed and an optional further single. There’s an en suite next door, with a deep bath just begging to be filled with our White Company bubbles.
Outside, the home offers private access to Warwick Square itself, which is an enormous benefit on hot summer's days.
