Overview

Camden Town House Rental Photos and Description

Festival of lights

Shine on

Borrowing some of Camden Town's incandescent glow, this recently re-imagined home has an open dining space enlivened by an impressive collection of Eddison bulbs hanging above the dining table, while the crisp, contemporary kitchen is particularly spacious – to say nothing of Jamestown Road’s remaining four floors. Cut a path through dazzling French doors and you’ll find a garden aglow with candles in lanterns and bell jars. But we must insist you take in the sunset from the radiant patio, perhaps over a light white from the wine fridge.

London luminaries

Your young hosts like to burn the candle at both ends, between the buzz of Camden Town and their burgeoning careers. Adventurous travellers and socialisers, their home is an airy haven for revitalising and recharging between brilliant bursts of work and play.

Eureka moment

As you beam your way through this home’s five floors, you’ll find all is bright – from the sparkling chrome sunflower shower to the shimmering walls and doors of mirror. Cast a glance at the master bedroom's crystal chandelier, indulgent against the otherwise pared-back decor.

After a day perusing the eclectic markets and cafés nearby, unfurl on the sumptuous sofa and admire the exotic international photography adorning the walls and coffee tables. Or reach for a National Geographic from the bedroom’s night stand and let your mind wander to other resplendent plains.

About Owner / Property Manager

onefinestay gives you the chance to stay in someone's place while they're out of town. You get to live their life for a few days and nights.

Booking a stay is as easy as booking a hotel room. And there's service to match.

Nobody wants to be a tourist, so our homes come with recommendations from the people who live in them. For everything else, we're here 24/7.

Why Owner / Property Manager chose Camden Town

Sheltering more sub-cultures than neighbouring London Zoo harbours sub-species, a trip to Camden Town is a rite of passage for any visiting teenager or those hankering after a hit of urban grit. This is the rowdier, younger sister of Primrose Hill. It has its genteel areas but centres around the dip-dyed, snake-hipped, shabby-happy Camden markets straddling the canal. This is the big top of London's alternative lifestyles, a street circus showing off goths to goatees via arty punks and party rastas, all being ogled by hordes of Italian teens.

Weekends can be intense bordering on insane, but midweek the markets and restaurants take on an enticing who-needs-to-work feel. Sit in the sun on the grass by the Regent's Canal, next to what is known as the Camden (Dread) Locks, and take in the spectacle before heading for dinner at the York & Albany, a Gordon Ramsay venture looking out towards Regent's Park, or watch a new band with dreams as wide as their jeans are skinny at Proud in the Stables Market.

What makes this house unique

Booking a stay is as easy as booking a hotel room, with online payment and confirmation. You get the same attention to detail and personal service too.

Every home is properly cleaned before and after you stay, beds made (we can even do hospital corners) and bathrooms kitted out with luxury toiletries. There’s a maid service if you want it, as well as other hotel-style amenities.

Once we’ve helped you settle in, we’re just a call away, 24/7. If it’s something we can’t solve over the phone, we’ll pop over to lend a hand.

And because nobody wants to be a tourist, our homes come with personal and unique recommendations from the people who live in them – places to eat, things to do and adventures to go on.
