Earls Court Apartment Rental Photos and Description
You’re in the tastiest of locations in this three bed, two bath period apartment
Catering for all tastes
Where in London is one just a couple of minutes from the loveliest of parks, yet within staggering distance of the most glamorous of boutiques? Where might one find a row of internationally renowned, free museums, surrounded by gorgeous cafes and restaurants?
The answer is Kensington, one of the finest locations not just in London, but in the world. And here you’ll find Marlborough Court, a warm, pleasant home in a venerable mansion block, with a twenty four hour porter. Stretch out on the window seat, or go outside and spread a blanket beneath the garden’s ancient tree – here’s a home that’ll leave you feeling very satisfied.
Your hostess runs a catering company from Marlborough Court’s kitchen – those who share her love of baking must try out the kitchen’s numerous gadgets. You’ll also notice an abundance of interesting art scattered between the rooms, for, when she’s not at the stove, your hostess works as an art consultant, and she likes to try out her very best pieces at home.
Upon entering Marlborough Court, turn right to find the pale kitchen, with everything you need to produce the perfect cake. Take your creation to the open plan living space, and eat at the antique dining table, where you’ve space for six hungry souls; note the bronze statue in its centre, designed especially for the Olympics. Old and new come together in this room, and it’s a marriage that’s more than just convenient – a sparklingly new Mac atop a delicate writing desk is a design delight.
The master bedroom holds a superking sized bed, with a definite feminine feel, and next door there’s a further double. Along the corridor you’ll find the final double bedroom, its crisp sheets presided over by a pair of imperious pandas. The two bathrooms are modern, and, of course, filled with our scrummy White Company toiletries.
And for desert?
You’ve a twenty four hour supermarket around the corner, and the cinema’s so close that you barely need to put on your coat. Holland Park is just across the road, and a little further afield, you’ll find Kensington High Street’s shopping to be some of the best in the city. You’ve an abundance of restaurants at street level, or, raise your gaze for incredible views from The Babylon Roof Gardens. And if you want to get into the West End, you can walk across Hyde Park, or jump on the tube. You can be at Piccadilly Circus in just twelve minutes.
