Brooklyn Apartment Rental Photos and Description

Global Tapestry

Warp and weft

Like an intricately woven wall hanging, this home tells the tale of a pair in search of adventure. Traveling through steaming jungles and windswept deserts, your hosts have collected rugs from Afghanistan, statues from Asia, and a handmade drum from Africa - each room is embroidered with these fascinating artefacts. Here, in Brooklyn's Fort Greene neighbourhood, you can card your own treasures from the fibres of the Brooklyn Flea Market, or simply settle in for some wool-gathering at a cafe to dream of far-off adventures.

Dyed in the wool

Your hosts are a young couple who spend their vacation days spinning new adventures. They've recently begun weaving together a family of their own, and a newborn baby has added a bright new filament into the fabric of their lives.

Flying shuttle

Wrap yourself in this home, which is made cosy by a multi-textured mix of colourful rugs, cushions, and tapestries. It's perfect for knitting together a vacation with family and friends: three double bedrooms provide space for guests to count sheep, and the open floor plan between kitchen and dining room lets you spin together a fabulous meal while entertaining. Stairs shuttle you through the home, from the verdant balcony to the sunny rooftop garden. Along the way you'll find tribal masks, unusual musical instruments, and framed pieces of foreign art. All are sure to dye your dreams with the pigments of faraway places.

About Owner / Property Manager

onefinestay gives you the chance to stay in someone's place while they're out of town. You get to live their life for a few days and nights.

Booking a stay is as easy as booking a hotel room. And there's service to match.

Nobody wants to be a tourist, so our homes come with recommendations from the people who live in them. For everything else, we're here 24/7.

Why Owner / Property Manager chose Brooklyn

One-of-a-kind, touched by history and utterly charming, Fort Greene is much like a delightful find in the Brooklyn Flea market that lures cool-seeking New Yorkers to this neighborhood.

Named after a lush and verdant park that was once an American Revolutionary War-era fort, it is the quintessential Brooklyn neighborhood. Its tree-shaded streets are peppered with architectural gems, from lovingly preserved Italianate brownstones to elegant Art Deco-style buildings. Art school kids and jazz musicians mingle with stroller-pushing young professionals in the Greenmarket, while creative souls from all corners of the world sidle up next to each other for artisanal cocktails and truffle popcorn at the bar.

A melting pot in the truest sense, the rapidly growing restaurant scene serves up locally-sourced 'New American' fare but also South African bunny chow (a dish involving a hollowed out load of bread, and curry) and Caribbean soul food.

The neighborhood is suffused with an artistic spirit, influenced by leading design school the Pratt Institute and performing arts hub Brooklyn Academy of Music. Just a quick 15-minute subway ride from Manhattan, it is ranked first among the most livable neighborhoods in Brooklyn.

What makes this apartment unique

Booking a stay is as easy as booking a hotel room, with online payment and confirmation. You get the same attention to detail and personal service too.

Every home is properly cleaned before and after you stay, beds made (we can even do hospital corners) and bathrooms kitted out with luxury toiletries. There’s a maid service if you want it, as well as other hotel-style amenities.

Once we’ve helped you settle in, we’re just a call away, 24/7. If it’s something we can’t solve over the phone, we’ll pop over to lend a hand.

And because nobody wants to be a tourist, our homes come with personal and unique recommendations from the people who live in them – places to eat, things to do and adventures to go on.
