Unleash your wild side in this two bed, one bath flat just by Battersea Park
A giant zebra print rug is the focus of the sitting-room, with plush fuchsia armchairs and a squashy pouffe at one end, and a herd of hot pink dining chairs clustered round an enormous table at the other.
The kitchen – beautifully equipped – is a riot of deep red, while a fearsome tiger strolls through the savannah in the oatmeal bathroom. The bedroom seems positively tame by comparison. Divided in two, there’s both a sleeping section with fresh, white linens and a smart dressing area. And if you’re ever worried about missing the call of the wild, this apartment has not one but two balconies overlooking Battersea Park.
While the apartment itself is lovely, the building is a 1960s block, and not the prettiest on the street. We've included a picture of it in the rooms section so you can have a look first. The communal areas inside are also a bit basic.
This home welcomes babies but isn't suitable for children between 1 and 10.
The apartment is on the 7th floor and the lift only goes up to the 6th, although we think the views from the top are more than worth it.
There's a new sofabed in the sitting room to accommodate two guests, although our pictures were taken before its arrival, so unfortunately don't show it.
