St John's Wood Apartment Rental Photos and Description
Gorgeous three bedroom loft in leafy St John’s Wood
Every now and then, we here at onefinestay come across a home that we just can’t stop thinking about. A home that puts roses in our cheeks and makes us go weak at the knees. And with its three floors, three bedrooms, a private garden, and one of the most marvellous art collections in town, it’s undeniable; home is where the heart is, and we’ve lost our hearts to Greville Place.
Tucked away in a quiet back street in affluent St John’s Wood, this spacious conversion is modern, yet characterful, close to the centre of town, yet secluded and silent. Fancy your chances? Well, no unattainable fantasy, this. Greville Place is very much available, and just waiting for your call.
Head over heels
Our hosts are a pair very much feeling the love, and the product is their beautiful fifteen month old daughter. He’s an entrepreneur who owns a company delivering candlelit dinners to the capital’s hungry couples, she’s a devoted globe trotter with a passion for art. Like their home, they are devoted, original and charming, and they’ve a lust for life that’s utterly insatiable.
Shall I compare thee to a summer??s day?
Love may be blind, but here’s a home that certainly rewards a good gawp. Stop, and admire the full height of the three floors, criss crossed with steel staircases, and flooded with natural light. Greville Place was once an artists’ loft, and our hosts have ensured that their home stays true to its roots by filling it with a collection of art that exudes humour and quirk, look out for the upside-down umbrella on the ceiling, luscious textiles, and some extraordinary original canvases.
And now, time to go exploring. But where to begin? Sprawl on the sofa in the scarlet sitting room, or rustle up a sumptuous supper in the large kitchen. If you fancy sharing your affections, the dining table seats six, and for balmy summer nights, there’s always the private garden in which to frolic. Up the stairs you’ll find three bedrooms across two floors, a single, and two doubles, each with their own en suite. They say the true course of love never did run smooth, but we here at onefinestay will make sure that it does, with your own iphone, and a helpful team on hand 24/7, in case of any late night calls...
It makes the world go round
Now, we’d quite understand if you and Greville Place couldn’t bear to be parted. But, should you manage to tear yourself away, you’ll find that St John’s Wood isn’t short on charm, either. Once where wealthy men kept their mistresses, now you’re as likely to see a wealthy woman out with her toyboy, strutting between the many delis, boutiques and shops.
Cricket fans will want to stop in at Lords, the home of the game, while nearby Abbey Road offers a good opportunity to recreate a certain album cover. And when you’re done cavorting and carousing, you’ll find the West End is tantalisingly close; in fact, Oxford Circus is only three tube stops away.
