Queens Park House Rental Photos and Description
Live a designer life in this 3 bdrm/bthrm house in peaceful Queen's Park
A new perspective
Those with children are familiar with the feeling, a constant lust for just a little more space. But must one inevitably sacrifice style to the gods of hearth and home? Not in Chevening Road. Owned by an interior designer, this house is not only vast and equipped for your whole brood, it’s also utterly, utterly lovely.
Perched in serene West London, with fast connections to the city centre, countryside and Internet alike, at Chevening Road you’ll find three whole floors of exceptional interiors--and, rarer still, a large back garden. If you're bored of indestructible kids toys and ready for something child-friendly but wonderfully fresh, treat your family to a stay at Chevening Road.
Art and life
Your hosts are a financial analyst and an interior designer, and it shows. Every detail is both functional and exquisite, every piece of furniture a true marriage of utility and form.
We’ll start in the garden. With a pond, a trampoline and even room for a bit of football, the kids can blow off as much steam as they can muster, while you relax on the Mediterranean-styled patio with a well-earned glass of wine.
Then, inside, to a symphony of calm in muted neutrals. The cerulean sitting room blends old and new, with antiques nestling up alongside some of the finest European design. The enormous family kitchen’s full of sunshine, and when you’re ready, head upstairs to find a truly beautiful master bedroom, with a dressing room and en suite.
There are two further bedrooms for the children, packed with toys and games. In particular, look out for the foosball table up in the loft. Let the rain fall as it may, Chevening Street will keep your whole brood wholly entertained.
Onwards and upwards
Queens Park is reassuringly residential, and you’re within a very short walk of Chamberlayne Road with its many family-friendly pubs and trendy restaurants. You’re also close to the rolling expanses of the park itself, and, if you’d rather head into town, the area’s excellent transport links can have you blinking at the bright lights of Oxford Circus in around twenty minutes.
