One Bed Apartment Sleeps 4

Recommended by the Gibraltar Tourist Board and featured on Britain in the Sun Channel 5 episode 4 this well presented one bedroomed air conditioned apartment is onthe lower level of the complex. Sleeps two in the double bedroom and extra accommodation for up to two guests in the lounge with a double sofa bed. Facilities include, fully fitted kitchen with fridge, microwave, oven & hob. Utility area with washing machine and second fridge with freezer compartment. Fully tiled bathroom with bath and shower and overhead pull out washing line.

Lounge has a double sofa bed, a 32' flat screen TV with sky channels, DVD player,cupboards housing hot water boiler , iron and ironing board, airing maiden, sun loungers. Morning room with table and 4 chairs, internet access and house telephone (incoming calls).Reversible air conditioning unit. Outside private balcony with gated access. Large patio to the side with sun loungers, large umbrella and BBQ area. Private tiered garden. Access to beach via stairs.

The Apartment was lovely clean and well presented. We had everything that we could possibly need from kitchen ware to towels and blankets. My partner likes to cook and had no problems finding things to use.

The Balcony was great for morning sun, a good sunbathe before setting off out for the day. We were greeted on the second morning by Ron and his wife who live a couple of doors away and give us some pointers as to where to go etc and they seemed really friendly and welcoming too.

The weather I believe was not as good as it could have been and that did make the sea a bit choppy and loud but we still came away with a tan and has to be said it was a lot better than home.

The Bottle of wine left for us was an unexpected treat and was gratefully accepted.

Overall a great place to stay if you want a quieter relaxing stay as apposed to the stay some of our family had in the ocean village.

We have we always wanted to buy a property in Both Worlds as it has many fond memories for us. We lived and worked at Both World in the 1970's when it was a hotel and realised how special the place was, when the opportunity came to purchase we did not hesitate and have loved coming back to our roots.

Carol Wilson (Owner) purchased this apartment in 2011

The apartment is situated on the lower level so closer to the beach. It is only one of two units with a terraced garden and private patio. It is gated so private and safe. The views over the med are spectacular with the sunrises you capture the best of the day.

Private gated access only to guests. Not overlooked and with a fantastic panoramic view of the med.

PERFECT

This was our first holiday with our daughter who is 18 month old so we were very apprehensive. However carol was very helpful & always available for advice, carol even bought our daughter a sleep cot, the rooms was perfect, the patio was brill with canopy for shade, rooms very comfortable and equipped with tea bags coffee shower gel towels bedding even a washing machine. We have booked to go back this year! The views are amazing you are right on the beach it's beautiful

LOVELY VIEWS

We stayed in the apartment for 3 weeks and had no complaints. The views are outstanding and you wake up to the sound of the waves. The outside area is very spacious and the whole apartment very welcoming.

Although Both Worlds is slightly more secluded than other areas, it means you have you own private beach and without no hustle and bustle of nearby traffic.

Carol was very helpful with anything we needed and I would gladly recommend this apartment as a great place to stay if you're thinking of going to Gibraltar.

We had a fantastic stay in Gibraltar .The meet and greet lady was lovely.

The apartment was very clean and had every thing that you needed for a comfortable stay.

It was very close to the local restaurants in Catalan Bay, we would recommend The Calata Hotel for dinner and afternoon tea.

I would highly recommend this apartment to others and to my friends

FANTASTIC, A LITTLE PARADISE

Everything advertised about this apartment is true, as a young family we wanted for nothing as it has everything, and looked after to a very high standard. the views from the sun deck and patio you cant get any better. just a few steps down and your on the beach which is very clean and safe for children. you also seem to get the best sun on this side of Gibraltar. we never had any problems what so ever the owner is very helpful even going as far to get us a welcome pack, we were met at the airport very promptly and taken to the apartment, I would recommend this apartment .we are already in the process of booking it for 2014.thanks again carol and Josie 5 star

EVERYTHING YOU COULD POSSIBLY NEED!

If you fancy a bit of peace and quiet, cooler nights and days on the beach this property is in a perfect location. Its slightly dated but very well looked after and has everything you could possibly need.
We had a slight problem with the property during our stay but the owner and agent couldn't haven't been more helpful! Communication was great and the problem addresses immediately.
It has a great outdoor space perfect for sunbathing and alfresco dinning with sea view.
The beach is perfect for adults and children and there are shops and eateries a short walk away near the Caleta Hotel. The bus service into town is brilliant, its regular and reliable and inexpensive.
Gibraltar and its people are simply wonderful! Thank you for a great holiday!

The complex is a traditional one and we have to update in keeping with the guide lines. This year we have added a refurbished patio and steps up to the garden to enhance our guest's outdoor comfort. Both Worlds is located on the Mediterranean side of Gibraltar which means you have the sunrise to wake up to. There are four levels leading down to the beach, each level faces the sea with a variety of balconies. Nearby is Catalan Bay a small fishing village with local fish restaurants. Gibraltar is very easy to travel around and there is a good local bus service from the complex every half hour into the town market place and return. Main Street has a variety of duty free shops, restaurants, banks and a post office. There are two marinas Queensway Quay and the new Ocean Village Marina which has a lively atmosphere with a casino, several bars and restaurants. Europa Point is the most southern point in Europe and is located a short ride from Both Worlds. Gibraltar has a British Heritage which goes back hundreds of years and can be seen all over town. You can take a Rock Tour and visit the famous Barbary Apes Den, St Michael's cave and the Tunnels. For the more adventurous there are the Mediterranean steps to climb up to the top of the rock,or take a Dolphin cruise, Tangiers is only a short ferry boat sail away. The Alameda botanical gardens located near the cable car is worth a visit as the flora and fauna are both colourful and plentiful. Gibraltar has something for everyone.
