The excellent accommodation comprises of a French style fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge and freezer, hob,oven and grill. The dining area consists of a farmhouse dining table and 6 chairs. From this area you enter a cosy comfortable snug with a feature stone fireplace and armchairs. The lounge has two settees and armchairs, TV and a feature fireplace with a gas log burner. From the lounge is a small porch with table and chairs overlooking the garden, ideal to relax with a glass of wine. Bedroom 1 is a double king size bed with bedside tables and fireplace, built in shower cubicle, wardrobe and a cot is available if required. Bedroom 2 has bunk beds with dressing table. Bedroom 3 is a double with plenty of drawer space.
The family fully tiled bathroom has a corner jacuzzi bath with shower attachment, toilet and vanity unit. The cottage is approached from the main road up a lane bordered by a stream and has gardens to the right and left of the property, one is a picnic area overlooking the village. Exploring the Gower area, then this is the ideal destination and the opportunity to stay in a very comfortable and well furnished character cottage.
The cottage is close to the Gower Heritage Centre, village shop with adjoining café, a very good restaurant and a short walk takes you to the Gower Inn where lunchtime and evening meals are served everyday. The seaside village of Mumbles with its variety of shops, cafés, promenade. Victorian pier and water sports are 15 minutes away as is the vibrant city with plenty of shopping, entertainment and sporting facilities. The whole of Gower is but a short drive with sandy beaches at Oxwich, Port Eynon, Llangenith and Rhossili, one the ten best beaches in the UK. The wild moorlands of Cefn Bryn take you to North Gower with its salt marshes, Pine forests and the Loughor estuary.
