The City 1-Bedroom Apartment B is a recently refurbished, 500 square foot, 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom dwelling, in a bijoux block within the very center of the famed City of London. This particular apartment is on the 2nd floor. The living room is tastefully decorated, with a dining table, two chairs, and a sofa. For entertainment, there's a flat-screen television, a DVD player, an MP3-compatible stereo, and high-speed internet access without restrictions as to the amount of data transfer taken place. The bedroom boasts a Queen-sized bed, with a quality mattress, bedding, and linen, to ensure a good night's rest. The new kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom is modern and sparkling! The apartment has hard-wood floors, double-glazed windows, and wonderful heating facilities.

Clean but chilly and noisy

We stayed in Apartment B. The location is very convenient, the flat was clean, and customer service was responsive.

Unfortunately, the heating did not work at all while we were there. We reported it when two City Marque employees stopped by for a walk-through, but nothing ever came of it.

Other cons: We found the bed uncomfortably hard, and the apartment is noisy. There's a lot of noise from traffic and vehicles idling on the street, and the bed is below a stairway that people stomp up and down late at night.

I don't plan to stay here again, despite the great location.

Great experience! Highly recommend!

We were the lucky first guests in this flat. I can't say enough good things about it. It was located close to a Tube station (right across the street!!), a Tesco and the Spitalfield Market and restaurants. We had everything we needed within walking distance.

The flat was comfortable, nicely decorated and functional. We were able to prepare meals for nights in and do our laundry. While not overly spacious, there was enough room for our family. The neighborhood is a busy one so it could get noisy in the evenings if the windows were open. But we quickly adapted to that without too much trouble.

The staff was very helpful with our arrival and at promptly addressing some "first time guest" issues (internet trouble, help figuring out the applicances). Everyone was friendly, professional and efficient.

We would definitely stay in the flat again!

The gold medal during the olympics

Perfect location in front of underground Liverpool Street. Coffeeshop naar the door and a Tesco at 50 meter.
This is our new place whenever we will be in London. Munch more fun than a traditional hotel

the flat was clean and had everything we needed, good location for groceries, pubs, restaurants and transportation. bedroom space a bit smaller than depicted in photos but fine for a short stay

Fabulous accommodation in City of London

The apartment was excellent in every way. So clean and everything had been so well thought out. I especially loved the central location and how quiet the apartment was. The special touches, like the towels folded like swans, and lovely toiletries made it very special. It was so easy to access due to the very safe security entry system. A must for any traveller to London. We will definitely be back.

The City of London is an area in central London, England. In the medieval period it constituted most of London, but the conurbation has grown far beyond it.
