This condominium is located on 4 O'clock ski run. A convenient short downhill run to the Snowflake lift and you're off! Ski back to the condo for lunch and after skiing. Sleep well in a king size bed, with a separate TV in the bedroom.

The front room queen size sofa sleeper, new October 2010, has an upgraded mattress. The front room also has a gas fireplace, television, and DVD player. Cable TV, and free WiFi are provided by Comcast. The fully equipped kitchen has a full size fridge/freezer, oven/range, dishwasher, and microwave, new May of 2012. The kitchen is also stocked with a coffee pot, and all the necessary utensils needed fo basic cooking.

The hallway closet has a 'stack style' washer and dryer.

The cross-country ski area is just down the street, and the famous Peaks Trail is closeby. Bicycle to Frisco on the Peaks Trail, and return on the Blue Rive Bikeway, or ride the shuttle back to Breckenridge. Both Breckenridge and Summit County have a fantastic shuttle system. This unit is an easy one block walk to get a shuttle.

The Peak 8 Base Area is just one block above this unit. During the summer Peak 8 has a Super Side, Ski Lift rides, Gold Runner Coaster, and other attractions.

Shop the many stores on Main St., Frisco, and the Outlet Mall in Silverthorne. Gambling is an hour away in Central City. Breckenridge and Summit County offer extensive hiking, biking, boating on Lake Dillon, historical walks/tours, wildlife and history lectures, museums, galleries, visiting artists, theater, and more. Frisco has a tubing hill, and a bike park right along Highway 9, you can see it as you come into town. A sledding hill, located at Carter Park. in Breckenridge, adds another activity to the list, especially for the kids. (or the big kids!)

Pamper yourself at one of the many spas, or use the excellent recreation center. The rec center has a large selection of activities, two pools, climbing wall, excercise classes, etc.

Breckenridge and Summit county have festivals and celebrations throughout the year, with community events, parades, contests, and a lot of good food! Browse through one of the outdoor artisan festivals, but don't forget the town has a nice selection of galleries.

Breckenridge has upgraded the streets for bicyclers, with bike lanes/routes, and hosts bicycling events. Often the town of Breckenridge is a stopping point for a big race, or charity event. Breckenridge was a stopping point on the 2011 and 2012 “Tour of Colorado.”

The Holiday season is festive and a delight to walk Main St., with all the lights and seasonal decor, set against the back drop of the Rocky Mountains. The International Snow Sculpture event is magical, both watching the process, and the final product.

Summer guests are welcome, and find Breckenridge a beautiful place to escape the summer heat. A deck off the front room provides a breath of fresh air.

About The Owner

We met in 1977 in Aspen. It was alway our dream to have a place in the mountains to go skiing. Turns out, it's the Breckenridge summers we really love. We are in our 60's now (can you believe I admitted that?), and we no longer downhill, but cross country ski and snowshoe when we can get away from our condo business; taking along our beloved Golden Retriever 'Buddy'. Ellen is a retired teacher, and Randy is a retired masonry contractor. We own two Breckenridge condos, and they keep us busy. We manage our own properties, and you will only deal with us.

The Owner purchased this condo in 1983
Why The Owner chose Breckenridge Peak 8

This was the first condo we purchased. We liked it's ski in location. Later, a lift was added nearby, and it became ski in and ski out. We also liked it's proximity to the Peak 8 Base Area. The building is in a quiet location.

What makes this condo unique

The ability to ski in and ski out is fantastic, no parking hassles. You can ski back to the condo for a quick lunch. A short walk down the street is the Nordic Center, where you can cross country ski or snow shoe on miles of trails. Peaks Trailhead is a mile away. The shuttle system is easily accessible.

This condo was perfect for my small family. It was close to Main Street, but still in a peaceful, secluded location on the mountain. It's very homey and comfortable and the owners are nice and easy to work with. It's very close to hiking trails (for summer). Overall, a great value and a memorable experience!

The rental was everything it claimed it would be. We went there for a couple of days of skiing. The entrance to the slopes was at the end of the parking lot, probably 75 yards. We actually drove a truck and took our skis and boards in it then one person walked from parking lot. Not bad at all. We would stay there again. Clean and comfortable. The owners also were fantastic with everything explained in detail. Thanks.

Our expectations were greatly exceeded by everything about this place. Well furnished with recent updates, ski-in/ski-out on the 4 o'clock run, easy access to peak 8, a short run to peak 9, close to town and shopping, and more than enough room. Highly recommended.

Me and a friend stayed here for a week-long ski-trip in February. The condo was comfortable, clean and a lovely place to relax after a long day on the slopes. Although the buildings themselves were not well marked, the supplied directions were excellent and we found it without any problem.

Enjoyable week in Breckenridge

My husband and I stayed at this condo in Breckenridge in late July. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this condo was for the cost. It was nicely decorated in cabin style decor and the owners have gone out of their way to make it comfortable. The newly remodeled bathroom was beautiful and the comfortable king size bed has designer bedding. It is not quite walking distance to downtown Breckenridge but it was a quiet area with plenty of parking for our trailer full of mountain toys. We found plenty of activities for a week. We are ready to stay here again.
