Luxury 2 Bedroom Holiday Apartment On The Banks Of' Bonnie Doon'

Craigdoon House is an imposing mansion in red sandstone which this delightful flat is part of and offers superb accommodation in a salubrious area adjoining the historic banks of Doon. The accommodation is to a high standard with a good level of appointment, fittings, décor, carpeting etc. The property is situated on the banks of the River Doon just south of Doonfoot Bridge. This is a good residential district and is within walking distance of the beach and Belleisle Park. The centre of Ayr is approximately 2 miles and Alloway village approximately ½ mile.

The accommodation comprises; entrance vestibule, hall, living room, modern fitted kitchen, two bedrooms, shower room/laundry room. The property has an area of private garden in which you can relax and enjoy a BBQ.

Craigdoon is only a ten minute walk, or two minutes by car/taxi to The Brig 'O' Doon hotel so it is ideal if you are attending a wedding there.We are happy to offer 'Craigdoon' for a long weekend stay arrive Friday depart Monday for wedding guests.

The Burns Museum is also a short walk from the apartment. The beautiful AYR beach is a 2 minute walk along the bank of the river Doon via a path adjacent to the apartment. There are two golf courses , a two minute walk away ' BELLEISLE' and 'SEAFIELD' 30 minutes drive will take you to two open championship courses 'TURNBERRY' and 'ROYAL TROON'.
