Fall get-away

We had a wonderful week staying in this property. The owners, Ron and Mary, were very accommodating and friendly. They provided brochures for local attractions, restaurants and festivals. The pictures on line were exactly as we found the place. It is very clean and well maintained. The full bath and 2 bedrooms are on the top floor, 1/2 bath, kitchen/dining area on the main floor, family room and laundry room downstairs. There are 2 tvs, one in a bedroom upstairs and one in the family room. Wireless internet access was helpful as we scheduled activities after our arrival. The surrounding communities were exactly as described. The fall experience was much slower paced and exactly what we were looking for. The leaves were brilliant, and we did not have to deal with peak season crowds. It was an easy drive up or down the coast as well as to major cities for a variety of activities: walking miles of beaches, viewing the lighthouses, outlet shopping in Kittery, whale watching in Gloucester, MA, or visiting the quaint shops and cafes in Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. And on a rainy day there is a local theater with up to 8 movies showing.
This property would not be appropriate if you could not navigate stairs .
