On the sunny side of Kilauea volcano summit, at the Volcano Golf and Country Club, author and international Animal Ambassador, Linda Tellington-Jones’ retreat awaits you. Her plantation style, modern and comfortable home features a wrap-around lanai, offering you a full range of outdoor living and dining opportunity, amidst the peaceful sights and sounds of nature.
Our back yard extends into a 30 acre park, and all this is 10 minutes from the rain forest, with trails inviting exploration of the rare and endangered plants and birds, and 5 minutes from the entrance to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
According to the National Park Service website, this park displays the results of 70 million years of volcanism, migration, and evolution processes that thrust a bare land from the sea and clothed it with complex and unique ecosystems, and a distinct human culture.
The park encompasses 333,000 acres and ranges from sea level to the summit of the earth's most massive volcano, Mauna Loa at 13,677 feet. Kilauea, is the world's most active volcano.
Volcano Cottage is a new, 2 bedroom, 2 bath home with full kitchen, wireless internet coverage allows you to work in the garden or in front of the gas fireplace, tropical furnishings in a secluded, tropical setting. You will sleep blissfully on our luxurious pillow-top mattresses.
If you love animals, Linda's library of her books and videos on Tellington TTouch for dogs, cats and horses is a special bonus. Come to Hawaii’s forest paradise and experience your renewal in the rest-place of one of the world’s foremost animal ambassadors and authors.
