About Pierre Godret

This property has been in the Godret family for about 100 years. Our family has always been very involved in the community of this beautiful haven of peace that is Tournedos sur Seine. My great grandfather (15 years), grandfather (25 years) and uncle (3 years) have all been mayor of the town.

I am the fourth generation and will be your contact, but the whole family gives a hand to preserve this jewel!

Pierre Godret purchased this chateau / country house in 1920

Why Pierre Godret chose Ande

Come and you'll see ;)

What makes this chateau / country house unique

This house is as warm as she is beautiful, the rooms are large but comfortable, incredible beds and decoration out of time.

But for me, Pampou is the best place of peace and quiet in ;ost of France The large green park, the Seine, the swans ... the dream

Astonishing travel back in time...

  • 5 of 5

Pierre and his family own a treasure here as it normally is hidden and predestined to the royals in this world. The chateau itself and all its little hidden pieces of history, paintings, swords and pieces of art made us travel back in time. We stayed in the house with up to 10 people and still it is needless to say that there is a huge amount of space. The various living and dining rooms invited to sit by the open fire, relax by the piano of just discover the house, its huge park or the Seine river which is literally 30 meters from the house. The city of Rouen with its many churches and beautiful old town centre are a 30 minute drive away and also in the surrounding area there are countless chateaus, castles, ruins and villages to discover. Pierre and his family accommodated our stay to our highest expectations. There are no complaints at all and we can undoubtedly recommend this beautiful property and its welcoming hosts.

One of a kind

  • 5 of 5

This "manoir", not to say "chateau" is definitely a jewel to discover! Our objective was to find an accommodation with style and character, close enough to paris and big enough to gather family and friends coming from abroad. The least we can say is that Pierre's family manoir fulfilled our expectations perfectly!

A hidden place, only a couple of hours from Paris on the border of the Seine, where the 11 of us met for an unforgettable moment. The number of rooms seems endless as you cross the corridor, with its pittoresque paintings and unique decoration. The living room could easily fit our small troop and we had the surprise and pleasure to enjoy my nephew practice on the piano (he might need some more lessons though!). The kitchen is spacious and typical as well, it is a delight for those who like to cook.

Pierre and his family can hardly be better hosts as they welcomed us with the best enthusiasm , always ready to help and give advices but still always discreet.

The outside was the perfect playground for children and adults, Pierre introduced us to this curious little Finnish game called "Mollky" and we spend the rest of the stay enjoying it around good wine.

The fact that we already booked our next reunion there is a proof that we recommend this "little" jewel without hesitation!

Semaine en Famille!!

  • 5 of 5

We are very close to the 'Château de Vascoeuil "which organizes numerous art exhibitions throughout the year.

The town of Louviers (15mn Pampou) is well known for its magnificent church. On Saturday there is a big market in the city center.

It is also very easy to visit the famous garden of Claude Monet at Giverny (about 40 minutes Pampou).

Rouen, 30 minutes, is the city of Normandy to visit. The magnificent cathedral, the wonderful art museum, all the small streets with many shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. ...

The landing beaches are approximately 1:30 to 1:15 Pampou and Paris by the A13 motorway.
