If you need to get away, Leisure Time Vacation Home at the Beach provides an opportunity for some fun in the sun. Located at Folly Beach on the outskirts of Charleston, South Carolina, this beach house has an ocean view and direct beach access right across the street. In addition to its wonderful location, Leisure Time Vacation Home at the Beach is large enough to accommodate a family get-together, sleeping fifteen in comfort. Down the center of the home is the combined kitchen, living room, and dining room, with two bedrooms and a bath on each side. Two bedrooms each have a queen-size bed, one room has two double beds, and a fourth room has a double bed plus bunk beds. All beds come with pillows, mattress pads, and bedspreads. An enclosed porch runs the width of the house and includes a futon (double bed). A sun deck on the front affords an ocean view. The utility room below has a washer, dryer, commode, and sink, and two convenient outside showers.

Of course, the beach is the best place to purchase local seafood, and preparation is a snap, either in the full kitchen or on the barbecue grill on the concrete slab under the house. The kitchen includes a microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, and utensils. You can enjoy your meal either in the dining room, outside on the deck, or under the house on the picnic table. No smoking in the house. No pets. No house parties.

New Owners: The owners of the have named the house LEISURE TIME. The new owners are the Albenesius Family who were born and bred in Charleston South Carolina. We spent many a summer on Folly Beach and still frequent the beach during the warm weather months. Our family is planning to enjoy LEISURE TIME immensely and hope to share it with the tenants! We are looking forward to working with all past renters and look forward to making new renters memories of the beach!

My family and I rented this property for our annual Labor Day weekend vacation. Great house and easy beach access. When we do return to Charleston for vacation, we will try to rent this house again. Thanks for a great vacation, The Padgett Family

Folly Beach Family Fun!!

My husband and I have spent many vacations in the Charleston area and visited Folly Beach every time. I would always see the families in the "big" houses playing on the beach and remarked that is what I want. To bring my children and my grandchildren to play in the ocean and to experience the great family time that I was witness to. We went online and rented the house at 812 Artic. As a "retirement" gift to ourselves, we took all of our children and grandchildren. This house was perfect. Everyone had a room, a bed and the ocean. There was ample seating around the tables for dinner under the house and in the kitchen area for breakfast. Shopping at the Piggly Wiggly was great. We even got a temporary Piggly Wiggly card. Sight seeing in Charleston was an easy car ride and we went in several days. We had 9 adults and 7 grandchildren (3 under the age of 3 and one baby) and everyone had room to to move. Two showers are provided under the house and we were able to keep the sand to a minimum. We so enjoyed ourselves, our grandchildren asked if we were coming back next year. The only downside was the gas grill did not work but there was a charcoal grill. I forgot how great food is on charcoal. Yes I would recommend this house. The access way to the ocean is right across the street and it does need a little clean up as the brush is high ( I might add there are ones at the ends of the blocks that are bigger). The pier is close and there is a restaurant named the Sand Bar that accomodated all of us for a great dinner out on very short notice. This house is just as pictured on the website and is a great family get away.

Great Home

We rented this house for a college graduation and had three families staying in it. The house layout was perfect and all of the porches and room underneath the house were great. This house was exceptional for the price and location, we will definitely be staying here again.

We had a great time at Folly beach and enjoyed staying in your home. We were surprised how the set-up is great for families. The teenagers stayed on 1 side and the adults on the other. With the living area in between..we could not hear them at night! We could see the ocean from the front deck..that is something we did not expect. Thank-you. A goos home for big groups.
