We chose this house for its charm and location. It was built in the early 1940s, and is very typical of beach bungalows of its day. The main house has three bedrooms with very comfortable bedding, a nice size living room, informal dining room, stacked washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen and one full bathroom.
There is a studio apartment that has a kitchen, sleeping for two, a 19in TV/VCR and a full bathroom. This bathroom is also included with the rental of the 3 bedroom house so you do always get two bathrooms!
Now back to the main house! There is cable for all TV's, including the studio, 25 in in the living room, a 20 TV in the master bedroom. There is a 13in third bedroom. And there is a DVD CD Cassette player w/AM/FM radio in the living room. We have a nice selection of movies! There are front and back decks, private hot/cold outdoor shower and a hot tub with complete privacy fencing of the back yard. And of course a good size charcoal BBQ grill.
The free standing studio apartment shares the private back yard is available for larger parties.
We never book two parties at the same time!
There is wireless internet service and free long distance telephone service within the US and Canada.
We took great care in the furnishing of our home. It is very beachy, so you really feel like you're on vacation! Our guest just love it here.
Our home is a short 5 min walk, or less than 1 min car ride to the beach. You can see the parasailors along the beach from our back yard!

This area is wonderful any time of the year. The sunsets now however, are really beautiful!! And the evenings are just right for the hot tub!
This Madeira Beach neighborhood has beautiful beaches within walking distance and is perfect for bicycling, walking, or skating. There are four barrier islands all connected by small scenic bridges, with beautiful views of the bay. Charming homes, churches, and clubhouses are all located in this neighborhood. You are centrally located near dining, entertainment, and other nearby beach communities. Madeira Beach even has a wonderful public library!
Johns Pass Village is three-fourths of a mile south of here. It is a pleasant walk by beach or Gulf Boulevard. There are fishing, sightseeing charters and shopping located at the village. If you would like there is a miniature golf course just north on Gulf Boulevard. The Suncoast Sea Bird Sanctuary is a short drive north on Gulf Boulevard and is a real education.
The home of Winter the Dolphin, The Clearwater Marine Science Center is a 15-20 ride north on the beach highway and a must see while you are here!
Many of the larger hotels in the area have night clubs and comedy shows. And if you are in the mood to shop there are plenty of great choices.
There is a trolley that goes from south Saint Petersburg Beach, all the way to Clearwater Beach along Gulf Boulevard. It is very inexpensive and a great way to see all of the nearby beach communities. It is a 3 min walk to the trolly stop from our house.
