This desirable and preferred ground floor condo features a double wide beach facing lanai which can be accessed from both the livingroom and bedroom.
It is just steps across the lawn to the quiet beach. The reef protected surf provides calm waters year round for swimming and snorkeling. There is an awesome array of colorful fish and tropical sea life including the amazing Green Sea Turtles to be seen just a few feet from the shore. There are always shady areas on the beach provided by the large trees nearby if you prefer to be out of the sun. There is also a convenient outdoor shower for rinsing off.
Our condo offers all the amenities needed for a great vacation experience. The bedroom provides a queen bed, large dresser, TV, and plenty of closet storage space. Listening to the waves will lull you to sleep. The bath is recently completely renovated and updated. The kitchen is fully stocked for meal preparation and utensils are also provided to use for grilling outside by the beach.
In the livingroom is a comfy queen size futon (we've slept on it), TV, DVD, and additional storage space. There is also a high speed internet connection and WiFi thoughout.
There are beach chairs, towels, and other water toys provided for your use.
Just a minute or two walk up the beach is Ali’i Beach Park where during the winter months the first leg of the famous Triple Crown of Surfing Championships is held. Just beyond Ali’i Beach is the Haleiwa Boat Marina. Charter a deep sea fishing trip, rent surf boards, jet skis or a boat, wind surf, kayak or if you’re adventurous, take the shark expedition for a breath taking experience.
Historic Haleiwa Town is just a short stroll away where you can browse the boutiques, art galleries, surf shops and local dining establishments and enjoy a shave ice at Motsumoto's Store. Grocery stores and banking facilities round out this quaint town.
Don't miss the food trucks at the edge of town which specialize in delectable shrimp plates.
The condo is just minutes driving from hiking areas, Waimea Falls, golfing, horseback riding, the Dole Plantation, Turtle Bay and the Polynesian Culture Center, not to mention the other famous surfing/beach areas: Waimea, Sunset and Banzai Pipeline.
We are from Southern CA and enjoy traveling, sightseeing and all things outdoors.
The Owner purchased this condo in 2004
We initially bought this condo as an investment for it's beachfront location. But we quickly fell in love with the property and town and now consider it a second home.
Being able to walk right off the lanai to swim, snorkel or kayak is such an advantage and one of our favorite things about this location. We also enjoy being able to walk everywhere. We start every morning when we are there with a circle walk to the local coffee shop then window-shop through the town, watch the boats going in and out of the Marina, surfers and paddlers at the Alii Beach Park, then back along the sand hoping to see Sea Turtles basking in the sun or popping their heads up just off shore.
