Stony Point, my 4 bedroom vacation home is unique in it's geography, beauty & charm. Stony Point is located in the village of Knife River only 15 miles north of Duluth, Minnesota on historic Highway 61. Stony Point is on LAKE SUPERIOR, 70 feet from the lake, with a million dollar unobstructed view. You will enjoy your own private beach while relaxing at Stony Point! Stony Point is a nature lover's dream vacation home. A quick 10 minute walk takes you to the Knife River where trout and Salmon spawn. There aren't many places on earth like the North Shore of Lake Superior. Rustic, decor will make everyone feel warm and at home.

About The Owner

I'm happy to share my Lake Superior vacation home. I enjoy the Duluth area scenery and many events: nature, great restaurants, music and unspoiled nature near the largest freshwater lake in the world. Stony Point is only 15 minutes from Duluth with its many restaurants and cultural events. Stony Point is located in a picturesque village of Knife River ....historically a small fishing village. This is a unique location near the mouth of the Knife River with a spectacular view and easy access to summer and winter activities.

Duluth is one of the most enchanting cities in Minnesota. There is an interesting contrast of an old port town feel and modern style.... a balance for the outdoors men and the city goers. Lake Superior is as close to the ocean as we can get here in northern Minnesota... enjoy sailing, fishing and ship watching. You will feel as though you are on the shores of a great ocean.

Great Weekend!

A group from work decided on short notice to go on a Girl's Weekend Getaway to to Duluth area. By good fortune we ran across Stony Point. This rental was perfectly located between Duluth and Split Rock Lighthouse for sightseeing but drew us back each night to "cozy in". The whole place was impeccably clean and comfortable. I've rented many cabins throughout Minnesota and by far was this the best experience! Flagship Rentals is top notch! Our group has been passing on word that this trip is a must next year and there is no place else we'd rather stay! THANK YOU BILL!

"We love the Duluth area and your home added to our great family vacation to the North Shore. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Stony Point. It worked perfectly for us...it was spacious, nicely decorated, neat and very clean. We had everything we needed. I'll not soon forget the view of the lake whether from inside the cabin or with a cup of coffee on that great deck. The bottle of wine and glasses on the table was a classy touch. Thank you for sharing your home with us..we hope to return. Nancy, Minot, North Dakota"
