'Real Florida' beach cottage: This house is a real 1930's beach cottage just like the one you remember from your childhood! It has been completely updated with new appointments but still retains the character of a vintage beach house. Guests who stay in this house always come back again!

This is a quaint and well-decorated little house and has a good amount of space for the 6 adults and one infant in our group. Loved the antique accessories and the front porch is wonderful for hanging out. The upholstered furniture (sofas and chairs in living areas) need to be replaced soon as they were at the end of their comfort life! Loved the very short walk across street to the beach which makes it simple to go there often in a day.
Owner's Response: Just wanted to respond about the sofa and chairs needing to be reupholstered. The sofa in the family room and one of the chairs in the living room is leather and they are in good condition. The other chair in the living room was reupholstered last summer but, since this family was at the house at the end of the season, it did need to be cleaned. This chair and the sofa and the living room sofa are white cotton duck cloth so they have to be cleaned each season which has been done now for the winter guests! Thanks for considering my house for your vacation!

This was a fabulous vacation for me and my 3 teenage+ kids. From the moment we opened the front door, we were at home for the next week. The furnishings are comfortable and cozy. Plenty of room to be together or to escape for a little alone time. The beach across the street is incredible and not over crowded. We could not say enough good things about our stay at Ronda's house. If you are looking for a restful and relaxing vacation at the beach, this is the property for you. We also rented scooters to explore the island and would highly recommend it.
