El Perello Cottage Rental Photos and Description
Finca Tita has been recently refurbished, has two bedrooms, and sleeps four.
Finca Tita stands on its own, just below the crest of a mountain ridge, overlooking four acres of olive terraces.
To the south there are breathtaking views of the Mediterranean, and the Ebro delta. We love eating on the veranda in the shade of the porch enjoying the outlook. There is usually a welcome breeze even in the hottest weather.
To the north our property borders with one of Spain's largest national parks, which abounds in wildlife. We have seen wild pigs, goats, foxes, badgers, rabbits, weasels, mice, lizards and lots of birds. Eagles often soar close overhead. The house itself has been recently modernized and comprises a living room with kitchen attached. The living room has a wood burning stove, the kitchen has a fridge freezer and gas cooker. There is a generous double bedroom, a small bedroom with two single beds, and a bathroom with bath, shower and toilet.
Tita has its own electricity supply coming from solar panels, and a small windmill, water is pumped from a cistern.
Finca Tita is easily accessed by a Tarmac road from the village of El Perello.
The nearest airport is Barcelona Reus, which is less than an hours drive away.
Ryan air provide budget flights to Reus and the flights can often be very reasonable especially if booked in advance.
Car hire is available at Reus airport from a variety of companies it does pay to shop around, and it is advisable to reserve cars in advance.
We arrange for our agent to meet and greet our guests in El Perello and escort them to Finca Tita where a welcome pack of basics awaits (milk, bread, fruit, wine and teabags).
Our agent will also show guests round the house and explain about changing gas bottles, where to shop, where the best beaches are ect.
Finca Tita has its own electricity supply which is generated by solar panels and a windmill, which is adequate but we ask guests to be mindful about leaving lights and electrical devices on when not required.
We also ask guests to be mindful about the use of water as this is delivered by tanker to our cisterna. The water is potable but like most people in Spain we drink bottled water and just use the cisterna water for washing and washing dishes ect.
Should you need advice during your stay you will be able to reach our agent by phone.
