The perfect White Mtn. vacation

Hello Jo Ann and Fred,
Thank you so much for the perfect "first trip to New Hampshire" experience. We just loved everything about the Woodland Chalet---from morning coffee out on the deck to happy hour in the late afternoon in the same place (!!!!), to the "forest" views from all the big, big windows, to the central location and easy access to everything we needed--resturants, groceries store, etc.
We had so much fun during our week at Woodland Chalet and the White Mtns. We hiked almost every day---even made it to the top of Kersarge Mtn. to see the fire tower at the top. Wow, what a view from there!!!! Did some day trips to include sightseeing (Mt. Washington is amazing!!!!), hiking and picnics. Had to "take it easy" one afternoon and go to the outlet mall which was just a few minutes away. Got some great bargains there!!
You sure thought of everything in the chalet, right down to a wine bottle opener!! The kitchen had everything we needed, and then
some. So peaceful and quiet there, slept great in the king size bed and loved waking up to the sound of the birds in the woods.
We didn't travel with any children, but would be a great place for a family to stay--plenty for the kids to do with the basketball hoop, woods, and their own space downstairs (including video games and their own t.v.).
Also, loved having a washer and dryer. That's one of the first things I look for when we travel.
I would highly recommend your house to others, and hope we get to "re-visit" one day soon and finish doing ALL the things we didn't get to do on this trip!!!! The White Mtns. are a "must see" and your place is a great place to do it from.......Many thanks, Jan & Paul

Owner's Response: We too enjoy sleeping in the king bed and hearing the birds in the morning. North Conway is the most relaxing place to be after the stress of city life. We feel as if we are lost in the woods at our house, but then we can easily get to excellent restaurants, outlet stores and ski mountains.
