Creek 'n' Woods I is a Smoky Mountain vacation rental cabin in Maggie Valley, NC. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin sleeps 6 - 9 people, and is fully furnished-all you need to bring are your clothes and food. The cabin is located on a creek (very kid friendly) in the woods, and whether you're sitting on the large open deck on the back of the house, the smaller open deck off the second floor, or are sitting in the rocking chairs on the L-shaped covered porch-the soothing sounds of the creek can be heard. The hot tub is also on the back deck, and at the end of a full day of exploring all that there is to do in Haywood County and the surrounding areas, it's a great place to submerge and soak away the cares of the day (or the sore muscles and possible bruises from skiing or snowboarding). The gas grill and an extra tank are on the back deck for your use. Creek 'n Woods I is on a paved road and accessible year round.

The kitchen is fully equipped. There are movies, puzzles, books, and games for your enjoyment, and WiFi and expanded cable are provided.

We take great care of our guests from the moment you call to make your reservation to meeting you upon your arrival no matter what time of day or night that might be. After driving 4-13 hours the last thing visitors to our area need to face is the 'hunt for the cabin'. When we meet you, we take you to the cabin so that we can explain how everything works, provide directions to the grocery store, suggestions on where to eat, and what to do. For our motorcycle guests, we will even do your grocery shopping if you email us your list in advance thus eliminating multiple trips to the store for 'provisions'. If someone in your group is celebrating a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, graduation, marriage proposal, wedding) we will do whatever we can to help make the occasion special by providing a cake, decorations or the names of local businesses who can meet your needs.

We got married in Maggie Valley in 1996. We fell in love with the mountains and decided that we had to move here from Ft. Myers, Fl. Life is wonderful here!!!

After a 10 hour drive from FL with our 2 and 5 year old sons we were nervous about what we had gotten ourselves into. Our two year old was crying that he wanted to go home as we pulled up. From the moment we stepped into the house though, it felt like home to all of us. The bathtubs were sparkly clean, the beds were very comfortable- (having a Tempur-pedic at home I was nervous,)there was plenty of room for the boys to play with the cars they brought and the games they found. As you walk into the home you can hear the babbling of the creek outside. The boys LOVED throwing stones and sticks into the creek, while my husband and I sat on the bench and had coffee and biscotti. At night we'd all sit by the fire and watch a movie together. There are incredible waterfalls a short drive and hike away. We took the boys skiing too. It was the most relaxing vacation and it was a much better family bonding experience than Disney.

Best Cabin Rental Ever!!

From the minute we walked into the cozy cabin we felt like it was home. Our two year old had a blast going through the games/movies and exploring the property.
Tom & Sue had everything we needed or would ever want so we didn't have to leave. It was perfect and we'll definitely be back!!!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!! Tom and Sue were the best!!! The house was amazing!!! The house was sooo clean!!! I mean clean!!! This home has everything that you will need. From the moment I e-mailed Tom & Sue about staying at Creek n' Woods 1, I knew it would be special - again. (We have now stayed at three of their cabins.) They were so accommodating. My schedule changed, along with my wife's, which adjusted our arrival time(s). No problem to them. They adjusted accordingly.

The cabin is well furnished, clean, and gave a feeling of "welcome 'home'"! Everything is very well maintained. The decorating is eclectic, showing how much Tom & Sue try to make sure you find something to enjoy during your stay. The sound of the creek fills the air as soon as you open anything to the outside. Even though there are other cabins close by, you never feel crowded or hear much, if anything, from the "neighbors."

Tom and Sue have not missed much in their furnishings and supplies. I didn't find a thing we needed other than more time to stay!

We will be back!
