Bee Tree Cottage on Whitewater Creek: with Mtn Views, Privacy, Hot Tub & WI-FI

Bee Tree Cottage was a perfect place to stay for our family. The location of the cottage is wonderful for exploring the area. Asheville and other area attractions are not a very long drive away. The grounds were perfect for our 12 year old daughter and our family pet. We all enjoyed walking the grounds and minus the pooch loved the hammock by the creek. There was nothing more soothing than waking up, pouring a cup of coffee and hopping in the hot tub conveniently located on the deck. Everything was very well taken care of and you could tell the owners truly took pride in this rental property. We will be back!

My husband and I recently enjoyed a very relaxing long weekend at this cozy cottage and were very pleased with our stay. It is well represented by the pictures and has everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom appeared remodeled and clean with plenty of towels. The large deck and hot tub were fantastic and being off the road a bit made us feel more secluded. However, we were still close enough to Asheville and other attractions we wanted to visit to avoid long drives. The fact the owners allowed us to bring our dog was a major plus as she enjoyed the huge outdoor area and nearby creek with us too. Overall a great experience, would stay again and recommend to others.

The cabin and surroundings were nice, but going for a walk is a bit dangerous, due to lack of sidewlks and narrow roads. Also, the bear that was constantly present, due to the garbage can being left outside-thanks for telling us about the key to put it under the house, meant that it was impossible to relax outside for the majority of our stay. I cleaned up after it several times and didn't get a single word of thanks from the owners. The power went out one evening and being in a cell phone deadzone and not having a corded phone, there was no way to communicate with the power company to get any updates.
The absolute worse thing about this was that my 8 year old daughter forgot her purse, that was hung up just inside the front door. It contained several valuables, which I would happily have driven back the 4 hours to retrieve personally. However, the owners assured me that they had the item and would mail it back asap. After a couple of weeks I called to see where it was and was again assured it would be sent soon. After waiting again, I finally emailed back and the result of the communications were that their cleaner had it all along and they made no effort to get it back. In effect they allowed their cleaner to steal the item, rather than attempt to return it. I'm totally disgusted by their behaviour and total lack of interest in the belongings of their customers. I will never deal with them again as they can't be trusted.
