Oakland Cottage is an historic 'Arts & Crafts' style home, circa 1910. The 5000 square foot 'cottage' has open common areas, full amenity guest-use kitchen, large dining area, laundry room, decks & porches - all add to the spacious, warm and convenient experience. And, if you need to stay connected while on your retreat, Oakland has additional amenities such as WI-FI, Cable TV and in-house phone. With ample private sleeping and delightful common areas, Oakland Cottage is perfect to rent (minus the Inn Keepers' apartment - the Innkeepers live on site in a private entry apartment) for wedding groups, small retreat-style meetings, family and friend gatherings (sleeps 20 guests comfortably).

Oakland Cottage is wonderfully located just a little over a mile from Biltmore Village and the entrance to the Biltmore Estate. Just a few more miles south on Hendersonville Highway (Highway 25) is access to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Grocery stores, convenience stores, restaurants, movie theaters and a wide variety of malls abound on Hendersonville Highway for your shopping convenience. Just a mile & a half north on Highway 25 (Biltmore Ave) is the heart of downtown Asheville, with an abundance of fine eclectic dining, site-seeing, shopping, arts and entertainment.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Individual Rooms/Suites range from $90 - $150 nightly, individual rooms available all year round
  • Don't need the whole house? Reserve a spacious & family friendly suite or room - Garden Suite $150 nightly, Safari Suite or Dogwood Suite, $140 nightly, Music Suite $130, Rose Room 7 $105 nightly, Rose Room 8 $100 nightly. Suites all have 2 rooms & a full private bath, some with mini-fridge, microwave & deck. Rose Rooms each have full private bath. All Suites and Rooms have Cable TV, coffee-maker, electric kettle, robes & hairdryer. Add $15.00 ea add guest per night if more that two are staying & 11.75% taxes to all totals. 2 night minimum on weekend nights, longer minimums apply to holiday weeks, check for Monday through Wednesday, online booking or Winter (Jan-April) specials.
  • Groups love reserving ALL of Oakland and when available, it may be reserved as a whole house in one of two ways:
    1) 'Full Service' option, indluding daily maid & housekeeping services & a delightful hot breakfast each morning: April through Dec/New Years week, $765 ntly Fri or Sat nts, for up to 12 guests, $15 each additional guest, 20 guest max occupancy; $675 nightly Sun through Thurs nts. Post New Years week through first Friday in April enjoy our winter rates, $675 nightly on Fri or Sat nights, $595 nightly on Sun through Thurs nights.

    2) Many groups enjoy the added privacy, independence & savings of reserving all of Oakland WITHOUT the full-services. April through December/New Years week, $625 ntly Fri or Saturday nts, with a 20 guest maximum occupancy; $550 nightly Sun-Thurs nts. Post New Years week through first Friday in April, $525 ntly (flat rate for up to 20 guests), $450 ntly on Sun-Thurs nts. Available weekly 'a la carte' $3325.
